The cultural relics of the Six Dynasties were even empty, and the sky was light and the clouds were idle. Birds go to the mountains, and people sing and cry.
In late autumn, a thousand rains fall on the curtain, and the balcony plays the flute at sunset. Disappointed, I watch Fan Li every day, and there are five lakes in the East.
Translation:
During the Six Dynasties, weeds were overgrown, the sky was high and the clouds were light, and all kinds of scenery were the same in ancient and modern times. Among the apples and cypresses in Cangshan, hundreds of birds fly around and live in villages and cottages for generations.
Outside the curtain, thousands of people bear the autumn rain, and the melodious flute is heard from the setting sun. I miss seeing Fan Zhong in my heart, so I have to glance through the trees and stare at the east of Taihu Lake.

This poem was written in the third year of Kaicheng (838), when Du Mu was the judge of Xuanzhou Yong Lian. This poem was written by what he saw and heard when he visited Kaiyuan Temple and boarded Shui Ge.
About the author:
Du Mu (803- 852) was born in Fanchuan, Mu Zhi, Han nationality, Jingzhao Wannian (now Xi, Shaanxi). Du Mu was an outstanding poet and essayist in Tang Dynasty, the grandson of Du You, the prime minister, and the son of Du You.
Tang Wenzong Daiwa was a 26-year-old scholar in the second year and was awarded the post of Hong Wen Pavilion. Later, he went to Jiangxi to inspect the ambassador's tent, and then turned to Huainan to inspect the ambassador's tent. He was the editor of the National History Museum, the food department, Bibi department and Si Xun, and the secretariat of Huangzhou, Chizhou and Zhou Mu. Because he lived in South Fan Chuan Villa in Chang 'an in his later years, he was later called "Du Fanchuan" and wrote "Collected Works of Fan Chuan".
