Why do many English poems have a broken sentence and two lines that don't rhyme?

This sentence is divided into two lines, and there is another sentence divided into four lines. For a poem that does not rhyme, if the syllables in each line are equal or roughly equal, it is called a blank poem. If the syllables in each line are very different, as you said, there are so many syllables in the first line and two syllables in the second line. This is called free verse. Poetry is often written for the poet's own purpose, attacking reality, expressing emotions, and so on. You don't have to write in strict accordance with the format. You can write wherever you want.
