Every Christian has a job in the world, and how to get along with his peers at work is a big problem. Many believers don't know what to do, and they are in a dilemma and confused. If everything is done according to what the Lord says, it will be difficult to be a man and it will not take long to offend people. Christian values are absolutely different from those of the world. It's hard to think of one thing in the sky, and it's hard to think of one thing in the ground. There are bound to be many contradictions in the work, which will be difficult to deal with and it will be difficult to keep your job. If you want to reconcile, some things don't have to be so serious. Try to work with your colleagues. Then, you must not please the Lord, and your heart is extremely uneasy, and the taste of offending the Lord is even worse.
Believers in real life tend to go to two extremes: first, living in the secular world is no different from the secular world. Although such people live in peace with their peers, they play enthusiastically. However, he has absolutely no peace in his heart and lives a life of sadness and guilt. What he did could not be smooth sailing, nor could he get the blessing of the Lord. One day, God opened his eyes and regretted his secular life. The second is to live an isolated life. This kind of person is kind. In order not to participate in the sins of his companions, he tried to avoid them, stay away from them and live a lonely life.
However, this is not God's intention. Look at the Bible: "I wrote to you earlier that you should not associate with adulterers. This does not mean that all adulterers, greedy people, blackmailers or idolaters in this world; If so, you can only leave this world. " (before forest 1. 5: 9- 10) God wants us to live in the world, but we should not take part in their sins, be absolutely different from them and shine for him. When we get along with our peers, can we get along with our colleagues in peace and find a balance without offending the Lord? I think it's possible.
The author works in a government office, and the political power is very strong. In the first few years of believing in the Lord, because of this incident, I was embarrassed and could not handle interpersonal relationships well. I'm often not a person inside and outside, either because I've offended my master or because I've offended someone, so I can't meet them again.
I mostly please others and offend the Lord, complaining to the Lord: "Lord! I can't take this road, and I can't completely ignore human feelings. "
In fact, our self-confidence is too small, our understanding of God is not deep enough, and we attach too much importance to interpersonal relationships. We think that it is difficult to do many things if we offend people, but we don't know that our interests are in the hands of God. Thanks to God's grace, my confidence and courage have increased, so I am not afraid of my hands and feet. I would rather offend others than God. The result is to please God and not to offend people. Colleagues get along very well, some become Christians, some respect my beliefs very much, and although they don't believe in God, they always forgive my sinful things. For example, when we eat together, I am occasionally asked to drink by people I don't know. Before I could speak, I immediately explained, "I believe in Jesus, but I can't drink." After drinking, they wanted to go to the lounge, so they took the initiative to call me, "Go home first, we still have to play." As long as you are a firm-minded person before the Lord, they will take the initiative to avoid you when they commit crimes and do evil. They won't blame you, they know that you are not on the same road as them, they secretly admire you in their hearts, and they also know that they are doing bad things. However, I can't get rid of it, but I have sold it to sin.
When Christians get along with their colleagues, the most basic thing is to do four things:
First, Christians should shine.
The Bible clearly tells us: "You are the light of the world. The city is built on a mountain and cannot be hidden. " (Matt 5: 14) God wants us to be children of light, to do good, to leave the sinful and holy life, and to be as holy as God, so that we can get blessings from him. Many of us believers know God's will, that is, we can't live without confidence and courage. If you act according to God's will, you will lose friends in the world and many benefits in your work, and you will be laughed at and despised by people.
If we deliberately disobey God, ignore the criticism of the Holy Spirit and indulge our lust for the benefit of this life, we will live in sorrow for a long time without peace and joy, which is the most painful thing in life. Many believers who have come over are sighing when reviewing their previous experiences of living in failure! How painful it is to believe in God but not follow his path! Words cannot express. Why did you work so hard at the beginning, instead of giving up all despair and following the Lord and living a quiet and stable life? Christians will suffer if they can't live a holy life. The longer they indulge in sin, the greater the loss. God is absolutely righteous, and he will repay everyone according to what we have done, not to mention the judgment before Christ in the future. Even in this life, God will judge us according to his righteousness. God cannot be careless. We reap what we sow.
I know a Christian. After he became a believer, he spent nearly ten years rolling around the world, eating, drinking and having fun with his colleagues and friends, and living a sinful secular life. Thank God for his kindness. I didn't abandon him and punished him with my staff. Now that I am awake, I have a desire to pursue in the Lord and see the great love of the Lord. However, he lost many blessings from God. Because of eating and drinking out for a long time, I can't sleep well at night and my body is very weak. Many things left debts for his wife, who held a grudge and refused to believe in the Lord, and the family was not harmonious and United, which brought great difficulties to his service. The son is more difficult. He was confused by computer games, didn't study hard, didn't listen to his advice, and watched Satan corrupt his next generation. Now, whenever I pray for my wife and children, I cry and regret my past debt to the Lord.
Therefore, if Christians dare not testify for the Lord in order to cater to others and make people like them in their work, they will definitely regret it in the end. If you listen to God boldly in everything, regardless of people's feelings and consequences, and do what he wants, you will surely succeed. God will be with you and Monta will bless you. Your light is shining, and colleagues will respect you, envy you and be blessed because of you. If you do it right, you don't have to be afraid of others Although you are fearless, people should be afraid of you, because evil is afraid of light, and the light of God shines on you.
Second, willing to suffer.
People in this world are often for profit, honor, selfishness and intrigue. If Christians are afraid of being cheated, it will be difficult for them to get along with their colleagues and please the Lord. Many believers often can't get through this hurdle, and the interests in the unit are unfairly distributed and their hearts are unbalanced. Why can't I spend such a large sum of money? His ability is inferior to mine. Why not promote him instead of me?
Every child of God will encounter many unreasonable things, which are really cheated in people's eyes.
My wife often complains to me at home: "It's really annoying. So-and-so didn't deduct wages for three days, and I deducted how much wages when I didn't go to work for half a day. " There is also how much money the workshop director shared privately. "Seeing her so angry, she has no mind to pray before God. I was thinking, if she works in my unit, I'm afraid she will be so angry that she will take a lot of cash for a pile of bills and even reimburse all the money for whoring.
We see the benefits of the world, envy them to get rich, and lose peace of mind. If we follow their example and fight with them, we will fall into sin and be cursed. Brothers and sisters, God does not want us to compete with others, but wants us to live in harmony with others.
The Bible says, "Don't repay evil for evil. Pay attention to what everyone thinks is beautiful. If you can, always try to get along with everyone. " (Luo 12: 17— 18)
In people's eyes, Christians suffer a lot. In fact, it is not Christians who suffer, but people who don't believe in Jesus. May the Lord open our eyes and let us see that this is the truth.
In the first few years of believing in the Lord, I often complained about him: "Lord! I will lose a lot of benefits by following you. They charge for eating in the canteen, and then they are reimbursed by the government. Meal tickets should be paid by yourself; No matter what they want, they will go to the store next to the office building to buy it. I dare not take it when the government pays wages at the end of the month. They eat in restaurants almost every day and don't pay for it themselves, but I can't; They often write fake tickets for reimbursement. I can't do such a thing. There are still many things I can't do, which is really a loss. "
A few years later, the Lord opened my eyes and showed me that believing in the Lord did not suffer, and the benefits gradually appeared. Look: How much does a healthy body cost? How much is a gentle and upright son worth? Moreover, the wife was saved, the husband and wife were United as one, and the family was harmonious. How much is this worth? Needless to say, the whole world can't buy eternal life together. Colleagues who don't believe in God: Some eat their bodies; Some families have broken up; Some sons are generally unloved; Some of the money earned soon ran out. How to preserve ill-gotten gains?
As the Bible says, "A man who gains wealth without taking the right path is like a partridge holding an egg that it didn't lay;": When a man reaches middle age, all his money will leave him, and he will eventually become a fool. " (Jeremiah17:11) Besides, God has never made my family lack, but it is more than enough.
Therefore, we allow unbelievers to be greedy and possess them. Don't be jealous of them, and don't deliberately conspire with them, because they are guilty. They can't take what they have As the Bible says, "When you see a man getting richer and his family getting richer, don't be afraid, because when he dies, he can't take anything away, and his glory can't go with him." (Ps。 49: 16- 17) They don't want to get it, they just want to lose it. We are not losing money, but being blessed. Christians can only live in harmony with their colleagues if they practice their will to be cheated. After a long time, they will say, "it's good to believe in Jesus, not haggle over every ounce, and gain both fame and fortune."
Third, don't rehabilitate yourself.
Christians are not only cheated at work. Moreover, they are often treated unreasonably and subjected to all kinds of brutal bullying. The power of life is violated, how to deal with it? Let's not retaliate against ourselves, because God said, "Revenge is mine, and I will pay it back." (Luo 12: 19)
We should state our situation to God and ask him to judge and listen to his anger. Besides, we should pray for those enemies who have offended us. If the enemy is hungry, give him food; If he is thirsty, give him water to drink. If we do this, we will please God, enjoy peace and joy, and God will avenge us.
Christians should never rehabilitate themselves, because we have no right to rehabilitate. This right is in the hands of God who exercises judicial power. If someone can't help getting angry, they have to discuss it face to face, which can only turn good things into bad things. Not only can't be rehabilitated, but he is cursed by his enemies and can't see God's fair trial.
David is a good example in the Bible. May the Lord judge right and wrong in all things and avenge his enemies. Once Nabal insulted David with cruel words, and David immediately led a team of 400 people, all armed with knives, ready for revenge. Through Nabal's wife, Abigail should stop him from taking revenge and bleeding. David knew that God was preventing him from taking revenge. He praised God, obeyed God's guidance, gave Abigail respect, and then went back with his men. Ten days later, God struck Nabal, and he died to avenge David. Even his wife, slaves, cattle, sheep and fields belong to David.
Some brothers and sisters lack confidence in God. It seems that they don't believe that God can avenge him, but they want to avenge themselves. God's word is absolutely reliable, and saints of all ages have witnessed many wonderful things.
I have my own experience in this field. A colleague, who is the director of the office, thinks that I usually talk less and do nothing, so he doesn't take me as the deputy director and curry favor with the director. There are many things that have gone too far. According to secular terms, they are snobs, and I don't care. However, one thing he did was quite out of line and angered God. Every time he handles the old newspapers in our office, the money he sells is his and nobody cares. One day, the old newspaper collector came and insisted on buying a pile of newspapers in the office. I said wait until the director comes back to sell it. He just won't leave, grinding me here. I'm writing materials, and I don't want him to bother me. When I saw him with a disabled daughter, I said you could accept it. He didn't want it for nothing, so he turned and took a piece of toilet paper and put it on the top of the cabinet.
When the director came back, he lost his temper: "Where is the newspaper?"
I replied, "I changed the toilet paper. It's on the top of the cupboard. Take it back! " "Next thing you know, his mouth is dirty.
I didn't say anything. When I got home, I prayed before the Lord: "Lord! You can see this clearly, you are free! " I entrust this matter to God and ask him to correct his mistake. A few days later, he had a car accident and woke up in a coma for a week. After treatment, he was still in a daze after leaving the hospital. He hasn't been to work for four years.
Therefore, believe the word of God. He is a completely righteous god and will reward everyone according to their actions.
Fourth, do not give in in principle.
We Christians should not compete with others in the interests of the world, but should be patient when being bullied and ask God to monitor us. However, on the issue of principle, we must never give in.
What is a matter of principle? What happened to Daniel in the Bible is a matter of principle. The ruler is not allowed to worship God, or he will be thrown into the lion's cave. Faced with such a problem, we have no choice but to go to the lion's den. There are also Daniel's three companions, and the problems they encounter are also problems of principle. The king of the world wants them to worship idols, or they will be thrown into the burning kiln. There is nothing we can do about it. The fire kiln has to be burned, and there is no room for reconciliation.
Some people say Daniel is too unwise. What does it matter if he comes to worship in 30 days? Doesn't God know your situation? As long as your heart is facing God, isn't it? This idea just falls into the trap of Satan denying the Lord in front of people.
The bible says, "I tell you again, whoever confesses me before men, the son of man will also confess him before the angel of god;" Whoever disowns me before men, the Son of Man will disown him before the angels of God. " (Luke 12: 8-9) God wants us to testify openly for him in front of people and stand firm.
