Prose in memory of Professor Liang

In daily life or work and study, everyone often comes into contact with prose, right? Prose in a narrow sense refers to a literary genre parallel to poetry, novels, and dramas. So, can you write prose? The following is the prose I compiled in memory of Professor Liang. It is for reference only. Everyone is welcome to read it.

Speaking of which, I still don’t know Professor Liang, and I don’t even know his name, but this does not prevent me from commemorating him.

This commemoration is due to a WeChat message sent to me by my friend Lu Ping on May 4th. "A sad news. The mentor of Cai Fangyi (Lu Ping's daughter) has left. It shocked me like a thunder and made me extremely sad." ! "When I received the WeChat message, the sky above Wuhan was filled with lead clouds, there was real lightning and thunder, and a heavy rain fell. I wonder if this rain was for Professor Liang. I could feel Lu Ping's pain, so I asked Lu Ping: "Is it Professor Liang?" He replied "Yes." I asked "Is it an illness?" He replied: "? In the early morning of April 21st He suffered a sudden cerebral congestion and was sent to the nearby Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for emergency treatment. Double perforation drainage surgery was performed. The emergency treatment and bleeding were successful. He suffered secondary bleeding after the operation and was transferred to the Tongji ICU where he continues to be in a coma. "He also said, "My tutor is just 61 years old, and my son is still in a coma. He is still unmarried in his 30s. What he wants most is to see his son get married and settle down in Guangzhou with his son, but he can't do any of this. "After hearing this, my heart felt sad, this lost life. I deeply regret the life of Professor Liang.

Although I don’t know Professor Liang, I am no stranger to him. Whether Lu Ping can get to know Professor Liang or whether his daughter can join Professor Liang's disciples is because of me. It was 2013. Lu Ping's daughter Fangyi graduated from university and had participated in ICBC's campus recruitment and was admitted. But she hesitated between studying and working, and there were some girls around her who were not very keen on studying. Some parents also think that it is enough for girls to have a bachelor's degree. Isn't it important to get a job and get married no matter how high school you study? Lu Ping asked for my opinion during a casual conversation. I said, let her continue reading if she wants to, and don’t leave any regrets! Lu Ping also had the same opinion. As a result, Lu Ping's daughter gave up the opportunity to join ICBC. During that summer vacation before the postgraduate entrance examination, Fang Yi studied hard and almost never took a break before 12 o'clock in the evening. When Fangyi was preparing for the exam, Lu Ping was not idle either. He inquired from school to school and from teacher to teacher to get information. Finally, I chose the law major of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. For the postgraduate entrance examination that year, Fangyi was extremely well prepared and performed extremely well. She easily passed the written examination line for the entrance examination for postgraduate students at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. I was still working in Jingmen at that time. When the news came, we were all very happy. Although Lu Ping was happy, he was still a little uneasy. He was worried about the interview. After all, his daughter did not go to Huazhong University for her undergraduate degree, and she was afraid that others would discriminate and suffer a disadvantage in admission. So he asked me: "Do you know the teachers at Huazhong University?" I said it was a coincidence. Although I didn't know the teachers at Huazhong University, my cousin's child was studying for graduate school at Huazhong University, and his professional tutor also happened to be a law professor. Maybe he could Help. Having said that, I immediately called my cousin and asked about my nephew's teacher, Professor Liang.

My cousin introduced me to Professor Liang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a Ph.D. in economics and a doctoral supervisor. He was born in Qianjiang, located in the hinterland of the Jianghan Plain, in 1958, into a family that has been farmers for generations. He was a farmer and a soldier. After returning from the job, he worked as a middle school teacher for his cousin at the Zongkou farm. In the diploma craze, college diplomas were obtained through self-study and correspondence colleges. But Professor Liang is well-read and is considered a multi-star intellectual figure in the local area. Professor Liang is good at teaching, but he is upright and speaks without restraint, which offends some "defenders" and there is a rumor that the school will expel him home. At this time, around October 1984, a colleague from the same middle school suddenly said to him, you can try to take the postgraduate entrance examination. When Professor Liang heard this, his mouth opened wide and he looked at his colleagues, thinking it was sarcasm or ridicule. I thought to myself, how could a person who never even went to college dare to have such wishful thinking? At that time, a junior college student at the lowest level was a proud son of heaven, very sacred and very glorious. Graduate students are simply out of reach. But his colleagues did not ridicule him, but took it seriously and analyzed his strengths and weaknesses. Professor Liang then became serious and took the exam seven times. In 1991, he was finally admitted to a graduate school in a university in Xi'an. This became a good story in Zongkou Farm and Qianjiang at that time. It was an inspirational story for every household to encourage children. After graduating from graduate school in 1994, he was assigned to teach at the then Huazhong Institute of Technology.

After listening to my cousin’s introduction, I was very interested in Professor Liang. I also thought that Professor Liang would have sympathy and encouragement for the low-level strivers and would be willing to help others. So I also told my cousin about Lu Ping’s idea, and my cousin enthusiastically agreed to take Lu Ping to see Professor Liang. After making an appointment to meet, I was originally going to accompany Lu Ping to meet Professor Liang. However, because I was working in Jingmen, the timing was unlucky and I couldn't get away, so I missed Professor Liang.

Later, when he returned to Han, he asked Lu Ping about the scene when he met Professor Liang. Lu Ping was overjoyed and said, Professor Liang, as you said, he is a forthright person with a temperament, especially after meeting his daughter Fang Yi, I admire him very much. He also said that he should not look for anyone else and let her study in his graduate school. In this way, Lu Ping's daughter's interview is like catching a turtle in a buckwheat field, which is a sure shot. Later, Professor Liang kept his promise and took care of Fang Yi all the way.

Fang Yi also performed well and the interview went very smoothly, and she passed the interview as the first in her group. Soon I received the admission notice from Huazhong University. This is mainly due to Fangyi's own efforts. Of course, it is also inseparable from Professor Liang's appreciation.

After Fangyi went to graduate school, I often went to Lu Ping’s house to play, and Lu Ping often told me about Professor Liang. I guess it must have been his daughter who provided the credit. Lu Ping said that Professor Liang is a passionate person who is very dedicated and energetic in his lectures. He always talks endlessly about his world of law, and speaks loudly about democracy and the rule of law. Sometimes he sheds tears when he talks about painful points. Professor Liang always teaches his students to read more, think more, and never follow what others say. Don't be disrespectful; Professor Liang treats his students like his nephews with great care. In particular, Professor Liang's reading club is particularly cutting-edge. All the books read are the most cutting-edge books in the world. They all think about the relationship between human beings and the universe. He especially hopes that parents will listen to it. Lu Ping went to listen to Professor Liang's lectures. Every time he listened, he sighed that it was a new kind of enlightenment. When I heard it, I was in awe, like a spring breeze and fascinated by it. I thought that Lu Ping's daughter would be blessed in this life if she could meet Professor Liang. Sometimes I can see his daughter at Lu Ping's house, and Fang Yi always says to everyone, our Professor Liang wants us to read something; our Professor Liang wants us to debate something; our Professor Liang, our Professor Liang... ...a look of happiness on his face. Under Professor Liang's training, Lu Ping's daughter has become confident, decent, and generous; she is knowledgeable, sensible, and speaks elegantly. After graduation, with the solid skills taught by Professor Liang, I passed all the exams and was admitted to the head office of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. I lived up to Professor Liang’s appreciation and cultivation.

When I met Lu Ping last year, Lu Ping talked about Professor Liang again. Suddenly he said, Professor Liang can no longer go to the podium! I asked, what's wrong? Did the students not like his class? Lu Ping said, no, the students liked his class very much, and the classroom was full no matter how big it was. I said, why is that? Lu Ping groaned, but he couldn't tell the whole reason. Oh, I seem to understand. In fact, this kind of thing is not uncommon, and perhaps understandable. But for Professor Liang, who loves teaching, not being able to go to the podium is a great loss. I just sighed deeply: If a teacher who loves teaching deeply loses his platform, doesn't it mean that a general loses his battlefield? A person who has ideas cannot spread his ideas and cannot benefit future generations. What is it but a kind of sadness?

Now, Professor Liang (I only learned Professor Liang’s full name Liang Musheng today) has passed away, just past the age of 50. I will no longer know Professor Liang, but I am willing to commemorate him. I think it is an honor for our generation to be able to commemorate a person who was unique and had free thoughts and personality. When Professor Liang is about to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, I sincerely hope that his soul can rest in peace and that he will no longer have dissent and depression; I also hope that his thoughts can bloom on the ground under his feet, even if they are covered with moss. Flowers are no less beautiful than peonies.
