What a beautiful night

The night is so beautiful

The colorful clouds are busy chasing the moon,

The small bridge lies on the waves.

The boat fell asleep,

There was a little light from the lantern.

Note: limerick

How beautiful the night is

The colorful clouds chase the moon,

The arch of the bridge lies on the white sand.

A small boat came in,

The lantern was like a spark.

Note: New rhyme, flat rise and oblique ending, the first sentence does not fit into the rhyme.

Baisha refers to Baisha Creek.

Zhang Wenqing's poem:

The moonlight is so beautiful,

The light accompanies the small bridge.

The boat is lying by the river,

Smiling as I fall asleep.
