In 730, the eighteenth year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Meng Haoran left his hometown to Luoyang, and then wandered in wuyue to relieve his grief and indignation at his career frustration. Sleeping at night in Jiande is considered as a contemporary work of Wen Wandering.
This poem is not set in the background of pedestrians or ships, but in the background of boating at dusk. Although there was a word "sorrow", he immediately turned his brush strokes to the description of the scenery. It can be seen that it is very distinctive in material selection and performance.
The first sentence of this poem, "when my boat is moving in the fog" and "moving the boat", means moving the boat to the shore; "Berth" means to stop the ship for the night.
