Recommended poem "Pick Mom"-Jules

Recently, I saw a poem, the corners of my mouth couldn't help rising when I read it for the first time, and my eyes suddenly got a little wet when I thought about it at midnight.

The author of this poem was an eight-year-old child who told me his true feelings in detail in immature language.

Jules' poem "Pick Mom"

You asked me what I was doing before I was born.

I answered that I picked my mother in the sky.

I think you are very good

I want to be your son

but I think I may not have that luck

I didn't expect

I was already in your stomach the next morning

After this poem came out, it touched countless parents, but some people questioned: Can it be called poetry? Is to divide some words into five or eight words. Is this ... poetry?

We say that poetry is the most common art, which usually comes from life. Its essence is lyrical beauty. Whether it is novel, prose or drama, the most beautiful place often has the flash of poetry.

Outside of science, the way for people to reach the truth is poetry, which is an intuitive grasp of the world beyond scientific evidence.

Since all the beautiful things in the world can be expressed by poetry, Jules wrote it with a pure and beautiful heart. Why can't I call it a poem to praise my mother?

I even think that Jules' poems contain more rich emotions and relieve feelings than those of some adults, just as Shelley said in "Poetry Debate": "Poetry is the record of the happiest and most kind moments in the happiest and most kind mind."

I think a lot of "poems" nowadays are just romantic things piled up with gorgeous empty words, but often immature and pure language like Jules can shock the soul more. At least I am one of the people who are amazed.

Then I just want to write here. I originally wanted to recommend this poem to you, but I didn't expect it to be eloquent and left a lot of words behind. Thank you for seeing the people here and finally want to say hello to my mother. Thank you for making me your daughter <
