Zhao Lihong, born in Shanghai in 1952, is a writer, essayist, poet, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, counselor of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, member of the National Committee of the Chinese Writers Association, vice president of the Chinese Prose Society, and Shanghai Writers Association. Vice Chairman, President of "Shanghai Literature" magazine, part-time professor at East China Normal University and Jiaotong University. Graduated from the Chinese Department of East China Normal University in 1982. In 2014, he was awarded the honorary academician title of Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC).
