Which dynasty was the peak of China's ancient prose development?

In the Han Dynasty, Sima Qian's Historical Records came into being. Its appearance greatly promoted the development of pre-Qin historical prose. Under the influence of Historical Records, many historical prose works were produced in the Eastern Han Dynasty, among which Han Shu by Ban Gu was an outstanding representative.
