Tongzhou Canal Culture Poetry

Guazhou has an important historical position in Yangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, and even the whole country because of its unique geographical location, beautiful river scenery and heavy cultural accumulation. Today is Guazhou, and its role as a canal hub is still very important. It is considered to be the leader of the "Grand Canal Cultural Belt Construction Project"!

From ancient times to the present, Guazhou is the only way from south to north. It records the footprints of many historical figures, including many famous literati and poets, and countless magnificent poems. Among them, the poem "Thinking of God" by Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, is still well known and familiar to everyone: Surabaya's clear water is a little sad to flow to Guazhou to cross Wushan. I thought about it for a long time, hated it for a long time, and hated going back to the previous time to rest. In the moonlight, people leaned against the building. In the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, famous poets left thousands of excellent works. Today, there is a stele gallery in Guazhou, which contains more than 65,438+000 Guazhou poems written by the ancients.

Guazhou is full of legends. In the Tang Dynasty, monks from Jian Zhen came to Fusang to spread religious laws and China culture. Kyle Polo once traveled to Guazhou City, wrote down his travel notes and spread them all over the world. Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty visited Guazhou six times and built a palace in Jinchunyuan. Passers-by from south to north not only left footprints in Guazhou, but also interpreted many wonderful people and things in the world.

Due to the discovery of Yizheng Copper Mine (Tongshan) in Yangzhou, Liu Yi in the Western Han Dynasty established Guangling Capital and began to "enjoy agriculture and cook salt" to develop the economy, making Yangzhou the first in the world and the first in the southeast. According to the records of Guangling bronze mirror in Han Dynasty, Yangzhou has been an important mirror casting center in China since the Tang Dynasty, and it has become one of the four major bronze mirror producing areas of Xuzhou Mirror and Nanyang Mirror.

At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the rivers from Qingshan to Shiwei in Yizheng originated from the river centers of Beixinzhou, Lijiezhou, Huilongzhou and Shamanzhou, and gradually merged together, which was called Beixinzhou. The river then divides into two branches, with the main stream in the north branch. The river flows northward, and even the continuous siltation leads to the change of runoff direction, which lays a hidden danger for Guazhou to collapse into the river and is also the main reason for Guazhou's collapse.
