How can I be reborn?

As Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so will the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3: 14- 15) In this passage, the Lord Jesus taught Nicodemus how to be born again. He cited a fact experienced by ancient Israelis to illustrate the main road of rebirth. We need to know this fact clearly, so let's first look at this old testament record: they started from Mount Hor, bypassed the east and arrived at the Red Sea. The people were very upset because of the hard road, so they blamed God and Moses and said, "Why did you bring us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no food and water here, and our hearts hate this weak food. " So the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit them. Many people died in Israel. The people came to Moses and said, "We have sinned against the LORD and against you. Pray to the Lord that these snakes will leave us. "So Moses prayed for the people. The Lord said to Moses, "Make a salamander and hang it on a pole. The bitten person lives at a glance at the snake. " Moses made a bronze snake and hung it on a post. Everyone who was bitten by a snake watched the bronze snake survive. (Numbers 2: 4-9) We should pay attention to the origin of this story. The Israelites were bitten by salamanders because they blamed God. They blame God because they have gone through a difficult road. God did not let them go this way to hurt them, nor did he abuse them. For their benefit, he will lead them into the land of Canaan flowing with milk and honey, so that they can inherit it. See how great God's grace is to them. He first rescued them from the slave land of Egypt and the cruel Pharaoh, and promised to take them to the promised land of Canaan. With such great grace, how should they confuse and thank God, and how should they obey God? Even if you encounter some difficulties on the road, you should be patient for a while and hope to reach Canaan as soon as possible. These difficulties will naturally disappear. Who would have thought that God would be so kind to them? They complained that God brought them out of Egypt to let them die in the wilderness. It's ungrateful to get such great grace, and now they go further to complain to God. How guilty are these Israelis? Excuse me, is God going to kill them with salamanders? Is it their fair share? However, God pitied them, cared about their pain, and asked Moses to prepare a rescue method for them, and ordered them to see the copper snake cured. Please note: everyone who is bitten by an salamander has his life cut off. Although he was still alive after being bitten by a snake for a few hours or a day or two, he acted as usual, just like ordinary people, but the poison of the snake has entered his blood, and he has been included in the death toll. To be clear, he is dead. But he listened to Moses and went to see the bronze snake, and then he came back to life. We must know for sure that his life after seeing the copper snake is not his previous life, but a new life. In other words, the person who was bitten by a salamander was reborn when watching the bronze snake and became a new person. He looked at the copper snake's body and looked the same, but his life was different. His old life ended after being bitten by a fire snake. After seeing a copper snake, all his new life was reborn. This is the way that Jesus taught Nicodemus and showed him how to be born again. He said to Nicodemus, "As Moses lifted the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man will be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." He told Nicodemus that human beings in the world had committed the same crimes as the ancient Israelites, which touched the wrath of God and lost their lives. Although the world is still alive as usual, in fact they have been included in the number of the dead. But God showed great mercy to them, just as he showed mercy to the Israelites in ancient times. He prepared salvation for them, not a copper snake hanging on a pole, but a holy and flawless lamb hanging on his head. He hoped that the Israelis who lost their lives would go to see the bronze snakes and live well. He also told all the people who lost their lives in the world to write to Jesus and live a good life. The Israelis who lost their lives watched how the copper snake regained its life, and so did those who believed in Jesus. Therefore, our question-here we get a clear answer-is to believe in Jesus Christ. Some people will say, "the way of reincarnation is so simple, then all Christians must be reborn." However, according to all the changes after a person's rebirth mentioned in the previous chapter, it proves that many Christians are not born again because there have never been those changes in their lives. What the hell is going on here? " To understand this, we must first clearly understand what "believing in Jesus" is all about. Do we think all Christians believe in Jesus? No, some of those people have already believed in Jesus, but many of them are still tens of millions of miles away from believing in Jesus! Let's start with the fact that the Israelis look at the copper snake. Israelis bitten by salamanders can easily visit bronze snakes. However, this very easy thing involves several important steps: first, the person bitten by a snake will know that he has been bitten by a snake, and then he will visit the bronze snake. If an Israeli was bitten by a snake while sleeping, he didn't know that an salamander had bitten him when he woke up, and no one else saw it, and said to him, would he like to see a bronze snake? Of course not. Secondly, the person bitten by a snake must know how terrible the result of being bitten by a snake is. Because I was bitten by a snake for a few days, it didn't hurt, nor was it red and swollen, but it was still hurt by others. People bitten by snakes are bound to die. If an Israeli is bitten by a snake, but he thinks it doesn't matter, will he hurry to see the bronze snake? Naturally, he doesn't want to go either. Third, people bitten by snakes must know that they can't save themselves. If he thinks he has a good medicine for treating poisonous insect bites, or he thinks he has excellent medical skills and can treat the wounds himself, or he remembers that his friends introduced him to a good medicine for disinfection, he can take it out immediately and won't go to see the copper snake. Fourth, people bitten by snakes must believe the word of God. He believed in God's message through Moses, and believed that if he looked at the copper snake according to God's instructions, he would recover and live. So the other party will go to see the copper snake. If he doesn't believe in God, I don't think he will look at copper snakes. It is also easy for a sinner who lost his life because of sin to write to Jesus, but this easy thing also includes the same four steps: first, a sinner must know that his staff has sinned. Second, he must know the necessary death of crime. Third, he must know that he can't save himself. Fourth, he must believe the word of God and look to Jesus Christ hanging on his head. How can an Israeli who was bitten by a poisonous snake recover immediately after the above four steps? Just like a sinner who has the experience of the above four steps, he is immediately saved and reborn. It is true that many people in the world are called Christians today, but how many people have really experienced the above four steps? Many Christians don't have to believe God's word and look to Jesus. Even they never really knew that they were guilty, and they never thought about how terrible and dangerous the outcome of sinners was. Don't many people join the church because they have difficulties in making a living and finding a job, and want to find a place to eat in the church or its affiliated institutions, so they become Christians? Don't many people become Christians just because they teach in church schools, serve in church hospitals, teach foreign missionaries to learn Chinese, or work as domestic helpers in the homes of priests and missionaries to consolidate their work? Aren't there many people who can't afford their children to go to school, but they see that the children of believers can study in church schools for free, so they become Christians in order to share this benefit? Don't many people become Christians because they see the limelight and honor in the chapel? Aren't there many people who want to marry a female believer or a male believer, but the other person doesn't allow it on the grounds that they are not Christians, so they become Christians in order to achieve their goals? Aren't there many people who don't know who Jesus is, why should they believe in Christ, and what benefits can they get from believing in Jesus? They just blindly follow other people's advice and become Christians? Even better than these, some people become Christians because they think that the lessons of Jesus can create great personalities. Some people think that people must believe in religion, but Christianity is the best of all religions, so they become Christians. Some people think that Jesus' teaching can help people to govern the country and transform society, so they become Christians. Some people think that the truth of Jesus can give people arsenic-like comfort, so they become Christians. Although these Christians mentioned above have different motives, there is no difference in the most important thing: they never know that they are guilty; Never know the end of sinners; Never know that you can't save yourself; None of them believed God's word and looked up to the Lord Jesus who was hanged on a tree to make atonement for others. These people say that they are Christians, and some people admit that they are Christians and call them Christians. Some of them even claim to work for God, preachers, priests, elders and deacons. People also call them that. But judging these people according to the "faith" in the Bible, we know that they really don't believe in Jesus. Since they didn't really believe in Jesus, there is no doubt that they were born again. We must not believe that everyone who joins the church and calls himself a Christian is a person who really believes in Jesus and is truly reborn. Only those who have really gone through the above four steps can truly believe in Jesus and be truly reborn. Many people who are called Christians have never believed in Jesus and have never been reborn. Naturally, these people have never changed as mentioned in the previous chapter. What's so strange about it? There is no doubt that many people called Christians have been reborn, but not all people called Christians have been reborn. A person's rebirth does not depend on which church he registered in, which church he was baptized in, which church he went to, or how many missionaries he helped, how much money he donated in the church, or what position he held in the church. The only way for a person to be born again is to know that he is guilty, that he is in danger, that he can't save himself, that he will listen to the gospel of God, and that he will look up to Jesus who was crucified. Those who are not born again will be born again soon if they take this road. Everyone who has walked this road has been reborn. Here, we once again see that rebirth is a quick thing. The Israelites bitten by snakes "live at the sight of copper snakes". Note that the man who "lives at the sight of a copper snake" saw the copper snake and gained his life by faith in a short time. When he came, he was still a mortal, and when he came back, he had become a living person. A person who was desperate five minutes ago will die five minutes later. The same is true of sinners born again after believing in Jesus Christ. As long as this person truly knows himself, his filth, injustice, pain and despair, and is willing to believe in God's word and Christ who laid down his life for sinners, when he does so, God will regenerate this person through his spirit at that time and his words, give him new life and make him the son of God. Yesterday he died, today he got life; Yesterday he was filthy, today he is as white as snow; Yesterday he was the enemy of God, and today he is the son of God. The first delivery is very fast. Before the child was born, someone came to the delivery room, but the child still disappeared. Ten minutes later, he came back and saw a newborn baby lying there. The second production (rebirth) is also so rapid, the difference is that the first production is a fact that the eyes can see, and the second production is a fact that the eyes can't see. According to the truth of the Bible, no matter how big a person's sin is, no matter how miserable his situation is, as long as he really knows his sin, sincerely repents and asks for help, and believes God's word to take refuge in Jesus Christ, he will be forgiven immediately, justified, reborn and immortal, and become the son of God. For some reason, this precious gospel was told in a mess, so many people think that redemption is extremely difficult, rebirth is the most difficult experience, and eternal life can only be obtained after death. Therefore, many truly repentant believers still pursue salvation with trepidation, and urgently call on God to regenerate them, hoping that they may have eternal life after death. Whenever they pray, they are always full of words such as "sinners are not worthy to pray and dare not pray". Many sinners who are crushed by sin, suffering and despair want to ask for help, but I heard that redemption is so difficult and eternal life is so difficult. Therefore, they are hesitant and go astray ... To save this terrible phenomenon, the most important thing is to make people understand that if they truly repent and trust in Jesus, they will be reborn immediately, and they will have eternal life and be saved. There is an urgent need to explain this fundamental road today! Yes, the Lord Jesus has finished the salvation work on the cross, and we don't need to set up any methods to save ourselves, nor do we need to add anything to this salvation work. As long as we sincerely repent, confess our sins and wholeheartedly trust the Lord Jesus who gave his life for us, we will be saved immediately, reborn immediately and have eternal life immediately. Don't you believe it? Believe now, now you can be reborn and live forever. Have you already believed it? Know that you have been reborn and have eternal life, because the Lord Jesus will never deceive us. His words are credible. He said, "As Moses lifted the snake in the wilderness, so will the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."
