Tao Xingzhi (18911010/8-1July 25th, 946), formerly known as Tao Wenjun. A native of Shexian County, Anhui Province, China people's educator, thinker, great democratic fighter and patriot, and one of the main leaders of China Salvation Association and China Democratic League.
His works include Education Reform in China, Ringing the Bell in the Ancient Temple, My Father's Free Talk, Letters of Xingzhi, Poems and Songs of Xingzhi, etc. The work "President Tao's Speech" was selected in the ninth volume of primary school Chinese textbook published by Jiangsu Education Publishing House, and the first two of the four songs of self-reliance were selected in the first volume of primary school Chinese textbook published by Beijing Normal University Press 10.
