Brief introduction of the author
Xue Daoheng (539-609) was born in Fenyin, Hedong (now northeast of Ronghe County, Shaanxi Province). Shi Li lived in Northern Zhou Dynasty and Northern Qi Dynasty. When I entered the Sui Dynasty, I was a doctor from official to official. He was very famous and was feared by Emperor Yang (). Later, he died because of current politics.
He is a northerner, and his poetic style is greatly influenced by the south. His sweet words are beautiful and tactful. He once wrote "Salt of Yesterday", in which there is a sentence "An empty beam falls into the mud", which is about time. Poems of Sui Dynasty recorded more than twenty of his poems.
