My hometown Yulin is a quaint town. As long as you stroll on the ancient pedestrian street in Yulin City, a number of unique terraces will appear in front of your eyes, making you dizzying. Among them, the most striking thing is the Yulin Bell Tower in the center of the street.
Yulin bell tower has three floors, plus an octagonal pavilion, which is magnificent and exquisite, and has a taste of combining Chinese and western. Although it is old, weather-beaten and mottled in some places, it still shows its extraordinary momentum.
At the bottom of the bell tower is a building hole, which is used for driving and keeping people. The cave is made of blue-gray bricks, which makes people feel very simple and elegant. Above the door, there are two striking Chinese characters engraved: bell tower; There are four arched doorways on the second floor, and there is a clearing in front of them. On holidays, there will be uncles and aunts singing folk songs in northern Shaanxi to express their love for their hometown; On the third floor, the south and north caves are engraved with "Yan House in the south" and "Yan Sai in the north" respectively, reminding people that Yulin was an important border town in ancient times, where the brave Yulin people fought against foreign aggression and defended their hometown. At the top is an octagonal pavilion with double eaves. In the octagonal pavilion, there is a big clock. The name of the bell tower may be named after this clock. It is said that this clock was used to tell the time in ancient times.
