Differences between heroic couple poems and heroic couplets in English literature.
Heroic couplets are a style of English classical poetry, which was initiated by Chaucer. It evolved from a ten-syllable double-rhyme poem, with five steps per line, and each step has two syllables, the first is light tone, and the second is stress. Sentence patterns are balanced, neat, accurate, concise and elegant. "Heroic antithesis" is one of the main forms of English poetry, which was created by john dryden and is a rhyming iambic pentameter antithesis.
