Isaiah is the 23rd book of the Bible. It was written by Isaiah under the inspiration of God and completed after 723 BC. Record the background information about Judah and Jerusalem, as well as the crimes committed by Jews before the Lord at that time, and enlighten the Lord to take actions of judgment and salvation. In chapter 53, the whole chapter describes the experience and personality characteristics of Messiah Jesus who came about 700 years later.
The author of this book is the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah means the Lord is saving or the Lord is saving. He was a prophet for fifty or sixty years. He may be the royal family of Judah, and his father is Amos. According to Jewish legend, Amos is the cousin of King Uzziah.
His wife, the well-known prophetess (8: 3), has two children, one of whom is called "Shia Shu Ya", which means that they will return except the people. Another son's name is "maher Chalar Ha Sibas", which means plunder is coming, plunder is coming (Chapter 7: 3).
major duty
Isaiah was called to be a prophet in the year of King Uzziah's death, when he was about twenty years old. When he was a prophet, there were Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah and Manasseh among the kings of Judah, and Micah was the prophet of Judah at the same time as Isaiah.
