Yangming Xinxue "Yu Chenzhong Zhushengshu": Fame, fame and fortune are no different at home and abroad in ancient and modern times.

Times is not a problem, the problem lies in everyone’s original intention.

We know that due to the characteristics and development of the times, many people now do not know much about our traditional culture. In order to make this summary more readable, I have also done a little homework.

The predecessor of mind science was actually proposed by Lu Jiuyuan in the Southern Song Dynasty: The mind is the principle, my heart is the universe, and the universe is my heart. People share the same heart and mind. Invent your heart. See your nature clearly. The Six Classics are all footnotes to my heart. The specific method is to observe oneself closely, to reassure the person, and to clarify the distinction between justice and benefit.

Lu Jiuyuan sketched the general outline of Xin Xue, but he did not answer: In what form does Heavenly Principle exist in the human heart? What is goodness? What is evil? What are selfish desires? What is conscience and ability? What is the essence of the human heart? Neither has he effectively inherited and integrated his theory with Confucian classics, nor has he proposed his own practical theory and methodology based on this.

It was not until Mr. Yangming realized the Tao in Longchang: "The way of the sage is that my nature is self-sufficient, and it is a mistake to look to it for reasons of things." This completed the return from Zhu Xi's Neo-Confucianism to Lu Jiuyuan's philosophy of mind.

Inheriting Mencius's theory that the heart is the reason, we further analyze the human heart: Interpret the essence of the human heart as conscience; and the absence of good and evil means a heart without selfishness and material desires, which is the principle of heaven; Zhu Xi's Neo-Confucianism The objective natural principles existing in things are interpreted as the naturally existing conscience in people's hearts.

It truly integrates the Neo-Confucian system and is the true embodiment of the Chinese Confucian spirit. It has had a significant impact on the ideological and social changes not only in China, but also in Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other countries.

In fact, Mr. Yangming initially followed Zhu Xi’s Neo-Confucianism and spent 7 days and 7 nights studying the "Principles of Studying Bamboo", but he had no insights and finally gave up on the path of "Studying Objects". Later, he was demoted to Guizhou, where he had an epiphany and gained a new understanding and interpretation of "The Great Learning", thus completing the ideological system of Xinxue.

That is to say, everyone has a conscience. Conscience is our original mind. Our heart knows what is right and what is wrong.

Knowing what is right but finding reasons not to do it is selfish desire. And if everyone upholds their conscience and distinguishes right from wrong, they can become saints and sages.

Therefore, teaching us to develop conscience is the "Ming Ming De" in "The Great Learning". It was the three-character concept of "To Consciousness" that Mr. Yangming formally proposed when he was 49 years old.

Therefore, the purpose of studying Yangming Xinxue is to reflect on and respect the Confucian tradition, learn how to behave, learn how to improve your moral life, and learn to enhance your own meaning and meaning in life from the spiritual heritage of Yangming Xinxue. value. The value and meaning of the existence of this world are not given by others, but can only be obtained by acting with our own sincere and compassionate conscience.

It defines good and evil as the observance and violation of conscience. Establish action as the only criterion for testing whether one follows conscience. Thus the practical theory of the unity of knowledge and action was put forward. Establishing Zhiliangzhi as the core of the theory of mind is - if the heavenly principles of Zhiliangzhi apply to everything, then everything will have its rationality.

Mr. Yangming advocates that people will know immediately whether their will or thought is right or wrong by intuition. But it can tell people what they should do, but it cannot tell them how to do it.

Mr. Yangming believes that in order to know what to do in a specific situation, you need to study specific methods of action based on the specific situation. But later his followers felt that intuition, which is the inner mind, can tell us everything, including knowing what to do. So this is the part we need to pay attention to.

Mentioned in the book "History of Chinese and Western Philosophy", "Although Wang Yangming said that the law of heaven is conscience, and conscience is the essence of human heart. But he did not answer what is the essence of human heart? What is the essence of human heart? What is conscience? How does conscience transform people from animals into humans? What is the role of conscience in human society’s revolution? What role does it play in progress? ”

These studies on the structure of human consciousness, the connotation of conscience, the extension of conscience, and the historical status of conscience have not yet had time to start. This is a large blank left to us by Wang Yangming. But it is an opportunity for the rejuvenation of Chinese civilization. In other words, there is room for us to practice, develop, grow and even upgrade. I am grateful to Mr. Yangming and also to the institute for giving me the opportunity to grow in the future.

The following is in the form of a sharing draft:

Hello everyone, good morning to all the teachers of our 11th group. I am very happy and honored that I will start the new week of study and study on conscience. Practice it and thank you for meeting you!

When Teacher Tingting came to me and talked about this matter, I had no particular desire to express it, but it just happened to push me to carry out the planned Yangming Xinxue Week summary, so I am grateful for your achievements!

To be honest, traditional culture cannot be learned only on our platform. There are many places where you can learn it, and many people are studying and spreading it. But the most rare thing here is that there is a strict system that helps us learn to practice reflection and cultivate our character.

Originally, practice is every moment, and before a person has formed a habit, a better person will reflect on himself when encountering a problem, summarize and review the problem, and see where he can improve next time. But most people are still on the high-speed track of their original behavior patterns and find it difficult to stop.

At this time, our current well-organized system for cultivating conscience will push us to deliberately form such a habit every day. Such a setting allows knowledge to be put into practice, so that we can truly achieve conscience. , so I am very grateful to the Zhiliangzhi Education Research Institute and all volunteer teachers for their responsibility and dedication.

Let’s talk about what I gained in the first week of the Zhengxin Class

From the short article "Books of All Lives with Chenzhong" and the introduction by Teacher Boren, I gained this 3 points:

It turns out that in Mr. Yangming’s time, most people were seeking fame and wealth, and there was not much about moral cultivation in becoming a saint or a virtuous person. The situation is roughly the same as now. It can be seen that the times are not a problem, the problem lies in everyone's original heart.

The same emphasis is placed on external so-called success. The original article also mentioned that people are more likely to follow the crowd and are more likely to be anxious and confused.

Because we often follow our own hearts, but others judge us by their own values. If we do not have clear and determined ambitions, this will make us feel confused and stick to our hearts. More difficult.

So why we say that we should stay away from negative energy and be with like-minded people is about environmental impact. Because the more thoroughly you understand human nature and some of its roughly the same characteristics, the easier it is to accept them. With acceptance, energy is not spent internally.

The original text of the part about fame and wealth also talks about the relationship between the imperial examination and spiritual cultivation. Just as Teacher Boren said that it does not hinder people from working, studying, and developing their conscience. I was also very touched by this sentence. I heard it before Teacher Zhao Yuanye, who loves natural vitality, said that the college entrance examination is actually the fairest system - it allows children from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to break through class.

So there were always many people attacking our country’s college entrance examination system in the past. At that time, I followed the trend and thought it was indeed unfair. However, with the deepening of my understanding of it, it is possible for a superpower to do this. It is already the most suitable at this stage. Mr. Yangming also said that when participating in the imperial examination, you should not be led by the nose and lose your own ambitions. Therefore, ambitions and systems can be combined with each other and promote each other.

Of course, there is a difference between sticking to yourself and sticking to your heart. This is the second point I gained.

Sticking to yourself may lead to selfish desires that you have not clearly discerned. For example, Teacher Boren said that he knows his own obstacles and is secretly proud of himself after learning a little and thinking that he knows everything.

We often say that there is a big gap between knowing and doing, but this so-called knowing is like using a piece of wood to make our own hands and feet, although the clothes look like our bodies It is connected together, but there is no way for you to integrate it into your body and use it as you wish.

Also because of the existence of "it", it hinders us from doing a good job in rehabilitation and restoring our original vitality. This is where thinking we know becomes an obstacle to actually doing it. So be vigilant, yet remain humble and self-reflective.

Since the beginning of the sincerity class, I have always heard that we should be completely altruistic and selfless, but I always think: Without me, where would he come from?

The Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree because he focused on his own heart, so when I heard these voices in my heart, I actually felt resistance.

I also know that this is probably because I have been poisoned by the Western self-interested thinking of refinement, and because I do not fully understand Mr. Yangming’s central idea, but I still cherish my independent thinking. and the ability to judge.

Because people are together because of similarities, but they grow because of differences.

Just like someone asked Mr. Yangming: "In terms of academics, Lu Jiuyuan and Zhu Xi are very different. Sir, you once said that Lu Jiuyuan 'has a simple and clear grasp of the essentials of knowledge.' Now looking at Lu Jiuyuan's discussion, However, it is said that knowledge is explained and practiced, and it is explained by the method of "Zhizhi quwu". There is no difference between this and Zhu Xi's theory, but it is different from your theory of the unity of knowledge and action." < /p>

Wang Yangming said: "How can a gentleman deliberately make distinctions in his studies? He is just seeking truth from facts. Lu Jiuyuan and I do not seek common ground lightly in our doctrines; nor will we hide the differences between the two. Zhu Xi and I , We are not pursuing differences in theory; if the two are similar, we will not worry about problems. If Boyi and Liu Xiahui were in the same room with Confucius and Mencius, they would probably not be able to discuss the emphasis and overallness of their views. All of them are consistent, but it does not prevent them from being sages. If the scholars of later generations are all partisan and influenced by selfishness and impetuousness, they are treating the cause of sages as a child's play.

< p> So I personally feel that "Don't think about being different from others, don't be unconventional" is a bit absolute.

The progress of this world is that people continue to raise objections and confirm them. It is finally developed. Some things only represent individuals and have no universal significance. Methods and principles are not mutually exclusive and incompatible with each other. On the contrary, they can be combined with each other and promote each other.

I also think there are above. When Mr. Yangming, the thinker in the example, said: "Don't seek to be different from others, but seek to be consistent with the truth", he must not be very extreme. He cannot be independent of others at all and think of loving the natural vitality. A word from the director of the system, Lin Qingxian: Sincerity has the least risk. Just be sincere and open, and be a better version of yourself.

Just like putting your mind at ease, Teacher Boren explained that there must be something there - — Only by using them as a foundation can we establish stable values ??and judgments that are not affected by external objects.

This is why life must have a sense of ritual and children must have a stable growth environment. In other words. Use them to build a strong heart, so that it will not be distracted by other things.

Regarding this concentration, Mr. Yangming led everyone to sit in meditation and practice calmness. I happened to read some of it. The book on meditation, whether it is sitting meditation or moving meditation, is all about practicing while walking, sitting and lying down. Therefore, sitting meditation is not the purpose, but listening to your body and mind is the purpose. Hui.

Finally, Teacher Boren said that you must understand it yourself before you can explain it to others. I strongly agree with this.

But there are many things that you can do yourself. Understand and teach others at the same time, because teaching is the best way to learn. So this kind of sharing is actually a form of communication, and it is also in the form of teaching, but it is more humbling, because many people who listen to our sharing are wiser.

But our "speaking" is not just seeking approval, it is just a form of sorting out our thoughts. So, the more I explain, the more I understand. I would like to thank Teacher Lu Ting and the volunteer teachers in our group for giving me this opportunity to share. Thank you!

That concludes my sharing today. Thank you all for your patience in listening. I wish you all a happy new week.
