Medicine, benevolence. Doctors are kindhearted.

Medicine is a matter of learning, which is both profound and profound. The medical literature is vast, and although scholars have read extensively, they still struggle to read everything at a glance. The lessons in the school are taught by the teachers. One book is taught to one, and hundreds of people can understand it. Those who learn from it must be kind-hearted, intelligent and diligent in thinking. If you encounter critical and difficult problems, your heart will be pounding, your mind will be panicked, and there will be no good way to treat the disease. Although "Qianjin" is in the chest and "Compendium of Materia Medica" is in hand, the good prescription cannot be dispensed and the good medicine cannot be used. He must have devoted all his energy, studied painstakingly, and worked hard for many years, and then there was a new theory of medicine, and the medical garden produced extraordinary talents!

However, since the Spring and Autumn Period, it has been passed down from generation to generation. The five movements and six qi are predicted in the sky. They can look at the color and pulse and spy on people. They have immortal skills. Although the doctors are like clouds, there are many people outside the hall who want to be saints. There are few people who can solve the mystery. The ancients said: If you are not a good appearance, you will be a good doctor. Alas! Good doctors are hard to find!

Yu inherited his family education and was five out of fourteen years old. He was taught by his father and recited "Ode to the Nature of Medicine", "New Works of Four Words Pulse Jue", Shi Zhen's "Lake Pulse Study" and Xiu Yuan's "Shi Yu". Fang Gekuo", Jingyue's "New Fang Balue" and other books. Being young and dull, with little knowledge, it is ridiculous to swallow everything without knowing what is being said. When he grew up, he studied at Chengdu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1977. He studied both Chinese and Western medicine. Later, he worked at the Municipal First People's Hospital (inner third ward), engaged in the treatment of respiratory diseases, as well as cardiac, digestive, urinary and other system diseases. At this time, Yu specialized in clinical Western medicine, and often forgot about his career in Chinese medicine.

However, people's livelihood is suffering from various diseases, both in China and in the West, and there are always troublesome times. I have used traditional Chinese medicine to successfully rescue bronchiectasis, massive hemoptysis, gastric mucosal prolapse and massive bleeding, uremic anuria, refractory heart failure, myocarditis, angina, fast-slow syndrome and other critical and serious diseases (if western medicine is effective, traditional Chinese medicine can be used Then there is the suspicion of taking credit, which is not the result of stupidity). Even if you succeed in trying it, it is still difficult to get a glimpse of the door of traditional Chinese medicine.

In the 1990s, Yu was transferred to Chengdu Institute of Physical Education and taught in the Department of Sports Medicine. In his spare time, he was obsessed with studying the treatment of diseases through the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He began to specialize in the clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine. It was only then that he became interested in pulse theory, as evidenced by medical records.

One day, a woman in her seventies came to see me. I asked about her condition, but she stretched out her hand and showed her wrist, pretending to turn a deaf ear. After asking again and again, he looked away disdainfully and said: Ancient doctors diagnose diseases and know where the patient is by taking the pulse. When Yu suddenly heard what he said, his face flushed with shame, as if he was scolding: He who relies on asking questions to treat diseases is ashamed of being a Chinese medicine doctor! Apart from being ashamed, I was even more surprised. After the diagnosis, I once again read "Binhu Pulseology" and "New Works of Four Character Pulse Jue", and checked the patient's pulse for a long time. I still didn't have a clue about taking the pulse and solving the disease, but I persevered and indulged in the exploration of pulseology.

Suddenly one day, a thirty-seven-year-old woman came to the clinic complaining of premenstrual distension and pain in the lower abdomen, scanty menstrual flow, dark color, smooth bleeding with less pain, and severe pain when bleeding started. According to theoretical analysis, this is liver qi stagnation, which causes blood stasis. If the Qi is depressed, the pulse will be stringy; if the blood is stagnant, the pulse will be astringent. The pulse position should be attributed to Zuoguan, so Yu carefully tried to figure out the stringy and astringent feeling in Zuoguan. After that, some women came for diagnosis. Anyone who had string astringency in Zuoguan, boldly deduced it and tried it repeatedly. All of a sudden, it was like seeing the sun when the clouds parted, and suddenly the blockage was opened, and it seemed that the twenty-eight meridians were clear in my chest!

After that, I thought about it and found that Chinese medicine has five major physiological systems, centered on the five internal organs, and those that are consistent with them are the fu organs, body, Hua, orifices, and fluids. The ancients have not yet classified them. For example, where are the pulse locations in the head, neck, and upper limbs? Where are the pulse locations in the waist and lower limbs? Where are the pulses of the uterus, ovaries, and prostate? After more than ten years of arduous exploration, the pulse positions of the organs, tissues and organs of the whole body have been uniformly assigned, which has greatly enriched the scope of clinical application of pulseology.

There are several ways to diagnose diseases: the traditional Chinese medicine "look, smell, ask, and feel" is used flexibly, but there are too many pulses, and there are too few pulses. Either take the pulse first and tell the patient's condition; or first listen to the patient's statement and then take the pulse to supplement the remaining information; or combine pulse diagnosis with Western medicine auxiliary examination to confirm the diagnosis. By focusing on syndrome differentiation and treatment based on the pulse, good results can often be obtained whether it is a common disease or a difficult or critical illness.

I am stupid and insensitive. I have been walking on the road of traditional Chinese medicine like a blind man holding a stick for nearly 20 years. I dare to say that I have just glimpsed the door of traditional Chinese medicine. However, I dare not say anything when I enter the hall. Therefore, Yu added a subtitle to "Pulse Theory": After twenty years, he became a doctor. If everyone only becomes a doctor after twenty years, then why don’t we rush to kill all the doctors and experts? This book is actually a true portrayal of Yu’s medical and pulse studies experience. The title is just self-deprecating.

Although my work is unavoidably crude, it is well-written and well-written, but it is readable:

First of all, the three parts of nine horoscopes are increased to the three parts of 15 horoscopes, which clarifies the normal pulse position. and abnormal pulse positions, so that more diseased pulses can be included in the pulse pattern to facilitate analysis of the condition.

Assigning the tissues and organs of the five internal organs system to pulse positions expands the scope of pulse diagnosis.

Clear the characteristics of each pulse condition and make the pulse condition that cannot be expressed in words but can only be understood become real.

Integrate the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine closely with the pulse condition to analyze the pulse condition and illness.

Unify pulse diagnosis with Western medicine diagnosis to make disease diagnosis more accurate.

......

I thought: Based on the theoretical research of "Pulse Theory", combined with the "pulse instrument", it can become a widely used diagnostic instrument (recording pulse curve , analyze curve data, guide clinical diagnosis, and retain pulseology data). For example, the 1995 edition of the planned textbook "Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnostics" provides pulse wave diagrams for floating, sinking, late, several, flood, thin, empty, solid, slippery, astringent, stringy, wet, knotted, accelerated, and generation pulses. Gui Zai has taken an important step towards modernizing pulse science.

According to my opinion: If the pulse chart detects a stringy pulse in the second position of the right cun, the diagnosis is: cervical spondylosis, or neck and shoulder syndrome. Due to the chronic illness, the patient only felt discomfort and was not seriously ill. If the pulse chart detects floating and thin pulses at the first position at the same time, syndrome differentiation analysis: the first floating and thin pulse is mainly due to the invasion of dampness into the neck and shoulders. The disease occurs due to external evils triggering chronic diseases. At this time, the patient has obvious symptoms such as soreness and heavy pain in the neck and shoulders, and even numbness of the fingers, so treatment is necessary. The pulse chart analysis results are given to doctors to provide scientific basis for diagnosis and treatment, and the modernization of pulse theory in traditional Chinese medicine will appear on paper.

Yu believes that "Pulse Theory" not only provides doctors with reading materials for learning pulse, but also provides basic theory and practical basis for the use and promotion of "pulse instruments"!

I hope that TCM pulse diagnosis will be born out of "Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and become an independent discipline, so that medical students and practitioners can truly master it and use it instead of pretending to do it. Sample.

As I see it, Chinese medicine is like a feast, and pulse theory is one of the big dishes! I hope more people can taste its deliciousness!

For the completion of this book, I must first of all thank the previous leaders of our college for giving me a comfortable work and research environment and a picturesque campus living environment, so that my book can be written smoothly!

Thanks to those patient friends who believe in my medical skills and provide Yu with the conditions to study pulse theory!

Thanks to the experts on the editorial board of the pulseology section of "Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine" in previous years.

Thanks to the previous editorial board experts of "Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine".

Thanks to those friends who contributed to the publication of "Pulse Theory"!

I would also like to thank my Chinese and foreign students, whose diligence and inquisitiveness prompted me to explore and research on pulse theory!

Foolishly knows: There is no limit to medicine, and there are masters in pulse science.

I sincerely welcome colleagues at home and abroad to join me in learning the art of pulse learning and to promote it! Benefit the people! If so, Chinese medicine is very lucky! What a shame!
