Are Yuefu poems mostly folk songs like Jiangnan?

Yuefu Poetry is the folk music of Han Dynasty in China. It first started in the Qin dynasty and has been using its name ever since. Until Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty formally established Yuefu, its task was to sort out folk songs all over the country.

Yuefu was originally an institution. Later, Yuefu became a musical entity name. There are 56 existing folk songs of Han Yuefu, which truly reflect the sufferings of the people at the bottom. From the Han Dynasty to the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Yuefu derived new Yuefu, department Yuefu and lyrics. Music in the Han Dynasty was very prosperous, partly because Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty preferred music. Since 2000, in addition to The Book of Songs and Songs of the South, Yuefu poems, which come from the people, describe human sufferings and reveal the contradictions in feudal society, have shined brilliantly in the history of China literature.
