Face-burning tuas is a Buddhist god, also known as the face-burning ghost king, face-burning tuas and Yankou Ghost, commonly known as the master of tuas, the king of tuas and the king of saint tuas. Later, it was absorbed by Taoism and renamed as "Yu Lin great god, the angel of the ghost-burning king" or "Yu Lin great god, the ghost-burning ghost king".
Folk worship
Whether it is the Mid-Autumn Festival, or various Buddhist meetings and fasts, the statues of the masters are mostly shaped in the form of Buddhism: "Tall and powerful, with green teeth, a Buddha statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva on his head, a symbol of compassion."
Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, people usually worship their hosts. Some cautious believers will tie up the statue of Master with paper, while others will sacrifice with memorial tablets, portraits and wooden and stone statues, and put the gods or statues of Master in front of the altar to make the sacrifice smooth. After July, the statue of Master Da Shi will be cremated and sent to heaven.
