Where does Lintao, who dares to cross the river in Ge Shi's poems today, refer to?

In the poem "Shu Ge Ge", the Lintao River boundary refers to Min County, Gansu Province, where the Great Wall was built in western Qin Dynasty.

Extended data:

Shu Ge Ge is an eulogy for the brilliant achievements of Han Dynasty by the border people in the western regions in the Tang Dynasty. This poem has successfully created a national hero image with vivid metaphors and vivid words.

The whole poem is inspired by Beidou, which means Ge Gonggao; Taking the Hu people "far away" and "dare not" go south to herd horses shows that Ge's contribution is far-reaching. Its content is simple and elegant, and its syllables are sonorous and fluent, which not only has the natural fluency of folk songs, but also does not lose the elegance and agility of five-character poems.

The original text is as follows:

The Big Dipper is high in the night sky; Night in Gotham, with swords and fierce guards. Today, the Tubo people who breed horses only dare to look into the distance; They dare not go south and cross Lintao County.

Poetry appreciation:

This is a poem by the northwest frontier people praising the famous Ge in Tang Dynasty. From the content point of view, this poem praises Geshuhan's resistance to Tubo invasion and stability of the frontier; At the same time, this image conveys the people's ideals and aspirations for peace and stability. This constellation with seven high stars is Shu Ge holding up his sword at night.

The first sentence is "Qi Xing". The poet used the Big Dipper hanging high in the air to express the admiration of the frontier people for Geshuhan. "No more barbarians, no more horses, no more cows, dare to cross the river", and herding horses, in its sense, also means all intrusive activities. After being resisted by Geshuhan, Tubo never dared to harass Lintao again.

Creative background:

This poem was written in 753, the twelfth year of Tianbao, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, by the northwest people to praise Ge's military exploits after he led his troops to defeat the Turks. Ge Yuan was a subordinate of Wang Zhongsi, a famous soldier who served as our time for many times. In 747, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty held Tianbao for six years. Because Wang Zhongsi was framed and dismissed from office, Tang Xuanzong appointed Ge as our envoy in Longyou.

Longyou was established to defend Tubo and rule Duzhou (now Ledu County, Qinghai Province). Geshuhan showed Xuanzong's arrogance and belligerence in the war against Tubo. Some wars are to resist the invasion of Tubo.

Because Geshuhan repelled the Tubo invasion many times, it changed the border situation, resulting in "Tubo is too timid to go near Qinghai", which generally played a role in stabilizing the border and protecting people's lives and production.

Therefore, a folk song sings like this: "This constellation with seven high stars is Shu Ge holding up his sword at night. Tubo always kills it and builds two more trenches. " The "Shu Ge Ge" here is probably a work based on this folk song.
