The scenic spots in Hangzhou Xixi Wetland Park include Bolu, Yanshui Fishing Village, Shentankou, Lihang Ergong Temple, Hezhu Street, etc.
1. Bohai:
Bohai is the manor of Zou Xiaozhi, a native of Qiantang in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. At that time, the area was full of reeds and wild. Viewed from a high place, the entire manor looked like a fairy island anchored in the water, hence its name. Among them, two groups of buildings, Zizaitang and Kongmingxuan, echo the front and back of the Nianhuafang, forming three spaces from south to north.
2. Yanshui Fishing Village:
Yanshui Fishing Village is the Xixi farming and fishing culture exhibition center. It draws on the poetic artistic conception of "Autumn Snow Fishing Village" written by Chen Wenshu, a literati in the Qing Dynasty, and takes the beauty of the three smokes of willow smoke, kitchen smoke and water pipe, hence its name. This attraction has exhibition halls such as Silkworm Stories, Marriage Folk Customs, and Xixi People's Homes, which showcase the local characteristics of the waterside folk houses and the simple farming culture of the residents.
3. Shentankou:
Shentankou is called Shentan Port. According to "Nan Zhangzi", Shentankou cannot be crossed without a boat. I heard there was a dragon, and the deep pool was unfathomable. Hence its name, it is the main folk culture exhibition center in Xixi.
4. Lihang Ergong Temple:
Lihang Ergong Temple is one of the ancestral halls in Xixi dedicated to worshiping literati, and is as famous as Qiuxue'an, the two Zhejiang poets' temples. Among the two enshrined princes, one is Li E, named Taihong and Fanxie, who was a member of the Kangxi Emperor.
The other one is Hang Shijun, whose courtesy name is Taizong, whose names are Jinpu and Qinting Laomin, and he was appointed by Yongzheng Emperor. Both men were famous scholars and poets in Hangzhou in the Qing Dynasty. This scenic spot mainly restores the function of a gathering of literati and poets, where people can discuss poetry, write poems and paint, and it has a strong cultural atmosphere.
5. Hezhu Street:
Hezhu Street is named after the ancient place name Hezhu. It is a folk commercial street integrating leisure, trade fairs, and sightseeing. . The street has restored the layout of people's life and production at that time. The attic houses built near the water, the scattered boats crossing the bridge, and the popular folklore are full of the water town style of using the island as home and boats as horses.
