He is currently a member of the Sixth National Committee of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles and chairman of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
The main works are: the novella Xiao Jieyu, New Di Jun and Huaguan Short Stories; Poetry and painting prose collection "Shout and Love of Life", "Flower Crown Myth, Fairy Tales and Legends"; Many novels "General River"; Children's songs with composers, such as Listening to Mom's Past, Happy Holidays, Our Field, etc. All of the above works have been compiled into the Collected Works of Hua Guan (six volumes have been published).
Also published "Cangshui Bamboo Slips Collection" and "Cangqing Museum Collection of Ink Bamboo Slips". The giant ink bamboo Shen Xiong and Tian Tian are collected by Swedish and Danish museums.
Hua Guan, formerly known as Bao Huapu, was born in party member, CPC. 1922 was born, 1940 took part in revolutionary work. 1942 graduated from the literature department of North China United University. The opera script "Return to the Team and Make Great Achievements" (cooperation) won the Happy Award of the Chief Commander of Jicha Reliao Military Region and the Zhu De Medal, making a great contribution. The Story Chorus of Flying Tiger Mountain won the third prize in Bucharest.
The novella Rain for Little Hero, Song with Composer, Happy Festival, Our Field and Listening to Mom's Past all won the first prize in the country.
