Is A Gift for Wang Lun an ancient poem or a modern poem?

Classical poetry.

To Wang Lun is an ancient poem. Classical poetry refers to the poems of the pre-Qin and Han Dynasties and the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. It is characterized by the use of ancient Chinese and traditional rhymes, including five-character poems, seven-character poems and quatrains, also known as ancient poems.

To Wang Lun is a five-character ancient poem by Li Bai, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty. The first two sentences are famous: "Huayang fell to the ground and cried, and Wendaolong crossed the five streams." This poem shows the poet's feeling of parting pain and cherishing friendship by describing the scene of seeing friends off at the lake in spring. Its refined language, profound artistic conception and rich associations have become the classics of China's ancient poems.
