Why are modern and contemporary poems less popular with readers than Tang poetry and Song poetry?

Nowadays, people who write new poems blindly follow the trend to form a flower blossom. In fact, there should be many styles of poems in China poetry circles. A flower blossom alone is not spring, and a hundred flowers blossom in spring. Contemporary new poetry is not as easy to understand as contemporary ancient poetry. If you write new poetry like people in poetry societies at all levels now write ancient poetry, the situation of new poetry will be better.
