Albert camus (1913-1960) is a famous French novelist, essayist, playwright, existentialist literature master and representative of "absurd philosophy". 1957 won the Nobel Prize in Literature for "passionately and calmly expounding various contemporary issues raised to human conscience" and was one of the youngest Nobel Prize winners in history. Camus was regarded as an existentialist until 1950s, although he denied it many times. After Camus published his philosophical thesis Rebellion in 195 1, it caused a year-long argument with Sartre and others, and finally broke with Sartre. At this time, people discovered that Camus was a representative figure of absurd philosophy and its literature.
