The Significance and Influence of Meicun Style

Wu's singing performance is excellent, and his reputation is complete. Yuan Mei said that "this body is the first in the public collection" (the second volume of The Complete Works of Wu Meicun is attached with "comments"). Zhao Yi commented on Wu's poems: "Writing current affairs with the style of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, correct sects and rich words, is a master of modern times."
