On the eighth day of the first month in the year of Renzi, Zhang and Ye Zhongli and I went to Yushan and stayed at Dow's house. The next morning, it was going to rain, and neither of my friends wanted to climb the mountain. I have prepared bamboo poles and climbing sheds, and nothing can stop me. Starting from the north of the city, walk six or seven miles along the edge of the city and enter the Broken Mountain Temple. This is the place where poems were often built in the Tang Dynasty. Now the pool here is called "depression", which is taken from the meaning in the poem. So from Duanlongxi to the mountain, the mountain burst and cracked, and the reddish-brown stones crisscrossed. Legend has it that the claws of the magical animal dragon and the horns of the maid have been worn off and will be hidden from time to time. According to legend, the dragon fights with the gods, but he can't win, so he breaks the mountain and walks away. The content of the legend is close to absurdity and chaos, but there are some traces here that seem to be trustworthy. After walking four or five miles, it was full of twists and turns. Cross the mountain and walk on the stone road, and you can climb to the top of the mountain. There are piles of rocks on it. I suspect it's an ancient tomb, but there is no inscription to record whose tomb it is. Get on the dock and stare east. At this time, the color of the clouds is dim, the world is blurred, and even the sea can't be seen clearly. After a while, it began to rain. There is an ancient temple in Yushan, where you can stay and rest. The rain stopped, and we set off from the path to the south. The scenery along the way was wonderful: the gingival and palatal peaks on both sides reached the sky, and the steep peaks seemed to split from it. The cliffs on both sides compete to climb high, like open doors and upright blades. This is the sword gate. Because of the similar appearance, it is called jianzhou big sword and small sword. I stood with my feet up for a long time, but I still couldn't bear to leave. Later, I met a monk in the mountains and asked him about the scenic spots in the mountains. The monk said that the south is the Taigong stone room; From south to west are Zhao Zhen Palace and reading desk; From west to north, there is a rock that blows water. The water rushes down like a rainbow, and the wind blows against it, splashing water bubbles as high as tens of feet. There are three stacks of Shicheng and Shimen in Shanxi. There is a cave behind Yushan Mountain that leads to the sea. There are hidden sea creatures from time to time, and people can't name them. I understood his words and wanted to ask the way to visit, but at this time the clouds on the mountain were thick, the wind kept blowing and it was very cold. It rains from time to time, and my clothes are wet, which makes it difficult for me and my guests to stay for a minute. As soon as the rain stopped, we came down from the front of Yushan Mountain and set foot on the road home wearily. Since then, the spring rain has lasted for more than 20 days, and we can't go to Yushan again.
Alas! Yushan is only a hundred miles away from Wucheng. Passing through the foot of the mountain twice failed to realize the desire to climb the mountain. Now that I'm in that place, I have only a superficial understanding of it, but I haven't been to those deep places, which is very unhappy. However, some of the various realms in the world can be understood as soon as they are touched, and it is over when they are understood. At first, they were happy, but later they were boring. I want to find something worth pondering, but I can't find it at all; On the contrary, half of those hard-won things are gone, but people have endless yearning. Alas! This is not just going to the mountains to win once!
