Deyang used to have narrow streets and uneven ground. Whenever it rains, the streets become muddy. Moreover, Deyang does not have a decent leisure and entertainment place. It is difficult for people to find a satisfactory and comfortable leisure place to relax themselves after meals and leisure holidays. There is rubbish floating everywhere in Mianyuan River, and there are many dead fish. The same is true of buildings, mostly small bungalows on the first floor, with few high-rise buildings.
Compared with before, Deyang has changed a lot. Wide streets crisscross, and there is an endless stream of vehicles on the street. Whenever it rains, there is a tinkling sound outside the window. Open the window, there are adults and children walking in the rain with umbrellas, and there are all kinds of cars shuttling in the rain, whistling from time to time. . . . . . It presents a prosperous and romantic scene. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration of Deyang, the Confucian Temple Square, the largest leisure place in Deyang, was completed. Whenever night falls, adults, children, women and the elderly like to come here, or play, or chat, or recuperate, or exercise. People's laughter is mixed with the sound of running water, like a beautiful symphony. The fountain in the fountain is colorful under the light, rising and falling, just like the conductor of the symphony orchestra conducting. The architecture of this city has completely changed. High-rise buildings rise up to the sky, and are equipped with modern facilities, such as high-grade elevators and smart houses. The garbage on Mianyuan River was swept away, and two gates were installed along the river, which made the river management orderly. The river is clear and transparent, and even the small fish in the river are jumping happily. Dragon boat races are held here every year during the Dragon Boat Festival. On both sides of Mianyuan River, rows of neon lights are flashing colorful auras, and all kinds of grotesque artistic stone carvings are splendid, showing the charm of Deyang, the art city.
I love the tall buildings in my hometown, the Confucius Temple Square in my hometown, and the Mianyuan River in my hometown.
