Original text of the poem "Half a Tree"

Really, I saw half a tree

On a desolate hill

Like a person

In order to avoid the oncoming The storm

Standing sideways

It was struck by a thunder and lightning in February

from the top of the tree to the root

Half of the hawthorn tree was chopped off

When spring comes

Half of the tree is still standing upright

It is covered with green branches and leaves

Half a tree

Still as tall as a whole tree

Still as majestic as a whole tree

People say

Thunder and lightning will strike it again

Because it is still so straight and high

Thunder and lightning will stare at it from afar
