Under what historical background did Du Fu become a "three officials"?

"Three Officials" (officials from Xin 'an, Shi Hao and Tongguan) was created by Du Fu under the circumstances of great changes in his personal life and times. It was written in 759 AD, the second year of Tang Suzong Gan Yuan.

At that time, the countries and people of the "An Shi Rebellion" had just won some military victories and the situation was somewhat peaceful. However, due to Tang Jun's siege of Shi Siming rebels in Xiangzhou (now Anyang, Henan), there was a serious shortage of food and there was a panic. So Luoyang, as the pioneer of the capital Chang 'an, was once again in danger, and the whole situation suddenly showed a stormy scene.

In addition, the year before writing this set of poems, the poet wrote a letter to save the Prime Minister Fang, which angered Su Zong because of his fierce wording and almost gave it to the "Third Division for questioning". As a result, Zuo Shiyi was demoted to join the army in Huazhou and came to Huazhou in July this year.

From then on, the poet left Chang 'an forever, leaving the life of "going to the bar with a full sleeve of cigarettes" that he once felt comfortable. After arriving in Iowa, the poet was greeted by the bitterness and heat of early autumn, piles of cases, and flies and scorpions interacting day and night.

This kind of situation, naturally, is quite different from the poet's "falling flowers and wandering in the daytime, the dove and the swallow are deep" when he was in Chang 'an. It seems that the poet is still not used to being slapped by courtiers, so it is no wonder that he "barks". Real life quickly dispelled the poet's sleeves full of "cigarettes" and wiped the poet's eyes.

In the early spring of 759 AD, the poet traveled from Iowa to Luoyang, passing through Tongguan and other places, which coincided with Tang Jun's parting in Xiangzhou. In order to supplement the troops, the court used extremely cruel means to force all men, women and children to join the army. As a result, the poet's eyes appeared a sad scene; Especially the people who groan and wail under the oppression of the violent officials have brought a particularly strong feeling to the poets who have just seen Tian Yan You Xi in Chenziting.

It is in this situation that the poet wrote six poems in one breath, which is a masterpiece that has been handed down through the ages-Three Officials and Three Farewells.

This group of poems, from the whole creation of Du Fu, constitutes a wave-like development. Before that, when the poet was left in Chang 'an, he wrote some poems praising the emperor or describing the life of officials. In these poems, there is a layer of royal fragrance and a strong atmosphere of corridors and temples. Although some good sentences can't be read, the whole looks gorgeous and elegant, and the artistic conception is leisurely.

Other poems are mostly about personal sadness, and there is no special title. If this is a short low tide in Du Fu's creative process, then Three Officials is a peak after the poet left Chang 'an and followed his poems such as Washing Soldiers.

Judging from Du Fu's whole creation, "Three Officials" and "Three Farewells" are not enough to sum up his creative characteristics of "All rivers are inclusive". Among Du Fu's poems about mountains and valleys, this group of poems is a mountain peak in osawa, and there are many other scenic spots.

However, this group of poems highlights the realistic spirit of Du Fu's poems, which shows that China's classical poems have never gone so far towards life and people.
