What is the relationship between poetry and words?

Poetry and ci are both called poems, which have made great achievements in culture and art. The "poetry" we see today is the songs of the ancients before. "Poetry" can be said to be the general name of all rhymes including "words", which reflects social life through rhythmic language and is full of imagination and emotional expression.

Poetry, with its refined and harmonious language and distinctive rhythm, makes people read catchy, infectious and artistic, but strictly speaking, "poetry" and "ci" are obviously different.

Poetry and words have different carriers.

Poetry includes ancient poetry, modern poetry and modern poetry.

Generally speaking, the poems before the Tang Dynasty are all classical poems. By the Tang Dynasty, poetry had become the mainstream media in society and was called modern poetry with strict rules and regulations. However, several classical poems written in the Tang Dynasty and later are all classical poems after the formation of metrical poems.

Classical poetry originated from folk songs, including four-character poems, five-character poems, six-character poems and seven-character poems. Its meter is not limited to words, antithesis, leveling and rhyming, and its length is not limited.
