A 500-word essay about childhood

Colorful silk threads spun the sky of my childhood for me; colorful childhood dreams left traces on the countryside where I was raised.

In spring, the cabbage blossoms bloom with brilliant yellow flowers, as if they are stretching their arms and saying to the sky: "Spring is coming." There are colorful flowers in the mountains and fields. My classmates and I recited poems among the wild flowers. After chanting, we rolled in the flowers, and the fragrance of the flowers imprinted on our bodies. When I was tired, I rested on the lawn and attracted the attention of the butterfly, which landed on my hand. The little swallow in "Huan Zhu Ge Ge" bathes with flowers, attracting bees, but we attract butterflies. My childhood turned into a butterfly flying into the sky.

In the summer, you can swim, but it just cannot meet the requirements of us girls, because in the big river, there are only boys. We had to go at night to enjoy the many stars jumping in the sky under the blue sky. Listening to the fairy tales told by my sister, I thought to myself, I am a star in the sky, how wonderful it would be! My childhood turned into stars jumping in the sky.

In the crisp autumn season, we cut rice in the fields. Now when I see rice, it brings back my memories: Once, my sister and I went to the fields to cut rice. I thought it would be easy, but I didn’t listen to the method my sister taught me and didn’t wear gloves. As a result, I cut my finger. There is still a scar. Whenever I see this scar, I am reminded of a saying: If you don't listen to the old man's words, you will suffer the consequences.

In the severe cold winter, my cousin and I were on winter vacation, and we could still get together on the school playground to run three or five laps and play a few games. My childhood turned into the sweat of sports.

Ah! Beautiful childhood and happy childhood are short-lived. Now that I am about to enter the threshold of middle school, my childhood is quietly leaving me and I will never get it back!
