Yingcheng sweeps across the city, chants questions about the sky, sings nine songs, and the sky is filled with the crescent moon.
Last year, I received a message from Qu Ying, a student in Beijing, which said, "Hello, Teacher Zhu [Hold your fists] My wife and I were planning to go back to Xuancheng for a wedding during the Spring Festival, but we couldn't go back because of the epidemic [Huge Face] may have to be pushed to May Day. I would like to ask you to write a couplet for us. His lover's surname is Gou Ming Yue, which is also a single character. However, this caste is very rare and special. The pronunciation and word combination are also special, which brings certain difficulties to the couplet.
After receiving the students’ instructions, I immediately took action and started to think about it. First, let’s think about Qu Ying’s name. As the Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, I suddenly thought of the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival. Isn't this just to commemorate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period of our country? Yes! This couplet should be written from Qu Yuan.
Qu Yuan is a great patriotic poet in Chinese history, the founder of Chinese romantic literature, the founder and representative writer of "Chu Ci", and is known as the "ancestor of Chu Ci". The emergence of Qu Yuan's works marks that Chinese poetry has entered a new era from elegant singing to romantic originality. His main works include "Li Sao", "Nine Songs", "Nine Chapters", "Heavenly Questions", etc. The Songs of Chu, with Qu Yuan's works as the main body, is a shining pearl in the history of Chinese literature. And "The road is long and long, I will search up and down" is Qu Yuan's "searching" spirit, which has become a noble spirit believed and pursued by people with lofty ideals in later generations.
Later he was dismissed and exiled because he politically offended the powerful people of Chu State. On the way, he heard that Ying City, the capital of Chu State, had been destroyed and the Chu State was destroyed. Qu Yuan was so sad and angry that he threw himself into the Miluo River. Today's custom of rowing dragon boats and eating rice dumplings during the Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate this patriotic poet.
As mentioned above, Qu Ying's name is closely related to Qu Yuan. I think the main content of this inlaid couplet is Qu Yuan and his surviving works.
Once the idea and content are finalized, the word-embedded couplet will come out. The first couplet opens with the word "qu" and ends with the word "gou". Integrated into Qu Yuan's representative work "Li Sao". The first couplet says:
Qu Zi chants, writes Li Sao, and writes meticulously;
The second couplet opens with the word "Ying" for Yingcheng, the capital of Chu State, and ends with the word "月". Integrated into Qu Yuan's major works "Heavenly Questions" and "Nine Songs", the couplet reads:
Yingcheng is wandering around, asking questions to the sky, and singing Nine Songs to the Autumn Moon.
This couplet was sent to Qu Ying last year and has been stored in my library for a year. Today is the Dragon Boat Festival of the Year of Renyin. In order to meet the occasion and fulfill the student's instructions, I woke up at two o'clock in the morning today. Sitting on the bed, I pulled out the first draft, revised it over and over again, and re-integrated it into the "Nine Chapters". All four representative works of Qu Yuan were integrated into the couplet, and the autumn moon was changed to the new moon. The revised couplet is:

Yingcheng Range Rover, chants Tianwen, sings nine songs, and the sky is filled with the crescent moon.
I feel much better about myself than the first draft. This couplet conveys more information, but it all revolves around commemorating Qu Yuan, the great patriotic poet in ancient China. There are Quzi's chanting, Yingcheng Rover, and Qu Yuan's four representative works "Li Sao", "Heavenly Questions", "Nine Songs" and "Nine Chapters", and use idioms to meticulously express Qu Yuan's creative attitude and the literature that has always existed with the sun and the moon. Achievement.
However, due to the special names of the two people, the content is also limited. Fortunately, Qu Ying and Gou Yue are both senior intellectuals and literature lovers, and they do not care about Qu Yuan's patriotism in throwing himself into the Miluo River. The tragic feat, and the Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional festival of the Chinese nation, are even more proud of the fact that Qu Yuan's patriotism and great achievements in the history of Chinese literature are closely related to his name, and are closely related to the Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. The subtitles embedded in the couplets bear witness to their love and marriage that coexist with heaven and earth, and shine with the sun and moon! This may be my original intention in writing this couplet, I hope they like it.
