What is the architectural appearance of Zhai Palace?
According to historical records, Zhai Palace is located in the west altar gate of the Temple of Heaven, covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters, with double walls and a 167 corridor around the inner wall, which is a forbidden place. The main hall is Wuliang Hall, which is one of the famous buildings in Beijing. The top is covered with blue glazed tiles, and the terrace in front of the temple is equipped with a time tablet pavilion and a fasting bronze statue pavilion. The bronze pavilion is 0.5 meters high, dressed in ancient official clothes and holding a bronze medal engraved with the word "fasting" for a moment. According to legend, it was made by imitating Wei Zhi, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty. Behind the main hall are five bedrooms, where the emperor fasted.
