Li He, with auspicious words, has rich imagination in his poems, and often expresses his feelings with ancient myths and legends, so later people called him "a ghost genius" and "Shi Gui", and called his poems "the words of a ghost fairy". He, together with Li Bai and Li Shangyin, is called "Three Li in Tang Dynasty". Li He was a romantic poet in the middle Tang Dynasty, and also experienced the change of poetic style from the middle Tang Dynasty to the late Tang Dynasty.
Most of the poems he wrote bemoaned the untimely birth, and his heart was sad, expressing his pursuit of ideals and lofty aspirations, and also reflecting the hustle and bustle of officialdom and the exploitation of the people at that time. And left many old sayings, such as "Dark clouds crush the city to destroy", "The world is a chicken white" and "If there is love in the sky, it will be old". His famous articles include "Wild Goose Gate Taishouxing" and "Long Valley Collection".
He takes poetry as his career and works hard for it. His mother said that he "worked hard" and eventually died of illness. He died young at the age of 27. Li He deliberately pursues the beauty and coldness of poetic language. For example, in the poem Qiu Lai, these tragic images, such as childlike innocence, sweet soul and blood hatred, fully embody the artistic features of Li He's poetic language and have unique charm.
