The story of "breaking off diplomatic relations" is familiar to the whole world. This is the story of Guan Ning and Hua Xin. Now it is often used to mean that you can't make friends with people with different aspirations.
In the story, Guan Ning saw that gold was "like laying stones with a hoe", which was praised by the world. Huaxin knew it was a piece of gold and picked it up and threw it away. Doesn't that mean he doesn't care about money? What is derogatory to the world? How can there be a saying that "different aspirations are different"? When two people read books at the same table, they all see "people crossing the porch" and "people would rather read the same book than waste books". Hua Xin's going out to watch the fun only shows that he is not focused on reading and may not be able to accurately judge his interest in life.
Ning Guan, Hua Xin and Icefield are all celebrities in the Three Kingdoms, and they are called "Yilong". The flower heart is the dragon head, the soldier is the dragon belly, and Guan Ning is the dragon tail. Ning Guan and Hua Xin are friends again. Since we are friends, how could Ning Guan break up because his good friend went out to watch the fun? Reading articles inevitably makes people suspicious. Guan Ning's "make a mountain out of a molehill" isn't it? Or is it what the world calls "generalizing the whole"?
Indeed, the gold nugget in the text symbolizes wealth, and the crown symbolizes the dignity of power. Due to the factors of social times, scholars in Wei and Jin dynasties generally advocated talking openly, and some of them were particularly maverick, guarding the arrogant attitude of "the world is turbid and I am alone", staying away from the secular and living in seclusion in the mountains. In this way, Guan Ning achieved the name of transcendental freedom, while Hua Xin's successful career was vulgar. Ning Guan became a positive model of moral conduct, and Hua Xin was destined to be despised by literati.
However, after reading a lot of poems, Guan Ning understood the world, so he chose to stay away from the whole body and return to his hometown to become a hermit. His and Hua Xin's technologies were used to study the land and benefit the people. Which is clear? According to records, Hua Xin is not only an honest official, but also a clean and honest government. He has a good plan for governing the country and maintaining national security. When he was successful, he let bygones be bygones, regardless of personal feelings, and repeatedly recommended his old friend Guan Ning as an official, which greatly made him give way to a virtuous man. It's really admirable. Hua Xin is such a person with both ability and political integrity, but it's a pity that the reputation of later generations has been affected by "cutting seats"!
Two small things show that the scholar-officials judge others and are strict with themselves. It is really desirable to get to know each other a little, but it is wrong to break up arbitrarily just because of trivial matters. It is a bit biased to assume that Hua Xin yearns for wealth and official wealth. Ning Guan broke up with his friend because one or two details didn't meet his own standards and were too demanding. note:
It is commendable to keep a clean body, but it is even more impressive to endure turbidity and stain your body and make the world clean!
Comments: This paper analyzes human nature from the details of the story, and looks for the scale from the social roots. A series of questions make people reflect. "See the micro-knowledge" or "generalize from the partial"? The author has a clear point of view and a sharp pen, emphasizing dialectical and comprehensive view of the problem. Looking for the best annotation of "being born" and "joining the WTO" in traditional culture. Language is the vigilance and richness of classical Chinese.
Reflections on reading Shi Shuo Xin Yu (2) Shi Shuo Xin Yu is a rare good book, which mainly tells the words and deeds of scholars in Wei and Jin Dynasties. Although some people think that Wei and Jin scholars are not pragmatic and advocate empty talk, it is a national mistake. However, during the Wei and Jin Dynasties, people were able to fully express their opinions, which also created an atmosphere of philosophical speculation and had a wide and positive impact on later generations. Therefore, we should treat Shi Shuo Xin Yu dialectically, take its essence, discard its dross and use it for us.
I mainly speak the literature of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. I was deeply moved by the first article at the beginning. The first one is "Du Nu Xue", which tells the story of Zheng Xuanjia. The general idea is this. Zheng Xuan was a great scholar in Han Dynasty. On one occasion, Zheng Xuan ordered a handmaid to whip her against her will. The maid must explain. So Zheng Xuan was furious and had the servant girl dragged into the mud. After a while, a handmaid asked the handmaid who was dragged into the mud, "Why is it in the mud?" She replied, "I went to complain to him because he was angry." This is the first item at the beginning of a literary article.
This entry is very interesting. First, not everyone in the society at that time could read. Those who can read are all upper-middle class people in society. And handmaids were in a lower position in feudal society. And in Zheng Xuan's house, the maid is also a student. We can see that handmaids are also studying under the influence of Zheng Xuan. This reflects Zheng Xuan's family style. Zheng Xuan, a great scholar, had a great influence on the people around him. Zheng Xuan wanted to hit her maid in a rage, and she "confessed". As we know, as handmaids with low status, they are generally afraid to defend themselves. However, this handmaid of Zheng Xuan's family has a great personality. She resolutely defended herself. So I think this handmaid's behavior should be the result of reading. Reading awakened the girl's personal spirit and made her dare to defend herself.
After reading this article, I strongly disapprove of Zheng Xuan's beating her handmaid. First of all, Zheng Xuan is an official with status. Officials have the code of conduct and mind of officials. Besides, I can't see anything wrong with the handmaid from this entry, just because Zheng Xuan thinks that the handmaid will beat her no matter what she does. Such behavior is demeaning to officials and scholars. Of course, Shi Shuo Xin Yu should be placed in the historical environment at that time. From the perspective of equality between men and women today, beating a maid will be considered a very shameful thing. However, in the society at that time, it would be a trivial matter to punish a handmaid. So there is no need to criticize the ancients.
Shi Shuo Xin Yu recorded such a simple thing. Personally, it mainly reflects the influence of Zheng Xuan, a great scholar, on the people around him. Due to the influence of Zheng Xuan, all the handmaids read books. This not only shows the great influence of Zheng Xuan on the people around him, but also indirectly says that sipping reading has become a trend at that time.
In addition, I am also very touched by the "official rot".
The original text in the book is like this. Someone asked Yin, "Why do you get rich when you dream of a coffin?" Yin said, "Officials stink, so they dream of coffins; money is dirt, so they dream of filth." At that time, people thought the name was universal.
Someone asked Yin, "Why do you dream about coffins when you want to be an official and about feces when you want to get money?" Yin said: "the official position is a rotten thing. If you get it, you will dream of the coffin: money is like dirt, but if you get it, you will dream of dirty things." People at that time thought this was a wise saying.
After reading this short story, I can't help asking a few questions. First of all, why did the ancients dream of coffins, corpses and feces? To some extent, dreams are also a kind of social consciousness. Social consciousness is the reflection of social existence. Ancient people dreamed of coffins, which was also closely related to the social situation at that time.
The society at that time was a society advocating metaphysics and vanity. For official positions, the society at that time was not very keen. Moreover, many people regard official money as a filthy thing. This was the general trend at that time, so it is not surprising that the ancients dreamed of coffin bodies when they got official positions.
This story reflects the understanding of scholars at that time. At the end of the article, I wrote "People think it makes sense". It can be seen that official corruption was generally recognized at that time. The pursuit of value of scholars in Wei and Jin dynasties can also be seen from this.
In addition, I also have some feelings about the short story of "writing poetry in seven steps". The central idea of the story is that Wei Wendi once ordered his younger brother Cao Zhi, the king of Dong 'e, to write a poem within seven steps. If he couldn't do it, he would kill Cao Zhi. Cao Zhi wrote a seven-step poem. This poem is "Boiled beans burn beans, beans weep in the kettle, because they are born from the same root, so why should they be fried?". Wei Wendi felt very ashamed. For this short story, we don't care about the dispute between Cao Pi and Cao Zhi. Personally, I think Shi Shuo Xin Yu recorded this story because of Cao Zhi's talent. After reading this story, I was very surprised at Cao Zhi's cleverness and talent.
Shi Shuo Xin Yu recorded the words and deeds of scholars in Wei and Jin Dynasties and reflected the social outlook of that era. Reading Shi Shuo Xin Yu is very rewarding.
When I was reading Shi Shuo Xin Yu, I heard of Liu Qingyi's Shi Shuo Xin Yu in junior high school, and I didn't read it through until the university. I couldn't bear to finish reading it, and I was deeply attracted by this book. There are many short stories and vivid characters, and the boulevard is colorful and dazzling. At the moment, I once again borrowed the original from the city library, just like seeing an old friend, which is particularly cordial. Confucius said: You must keep your word and do what you want. Doesn't that mean you won't do it? Wang Fuzhi advocates that "the Six Classics Note Me", that is, the Six Classics are explained by the self-discourse system. New wine in old bottles, the classic work is a piece of leather, from which everyone derives many Mao Mao. There is a western proverb: A thousand readers have a thousand Hamlets.
I have always advocated "misreading" in reading, that is, the author may not have intended it, and it is also desirable that you subvert or misinterpret the author's meaning, but achieve a good result. There is a short story in Everything is done wrong, which says that a Chu man wrote a letter to the Prime Minister of Yan State. Because it was written at night and the light was not good, the Chu people ordered their men to "raise candles." As he wrote, he wrote "Raise the candle" in the letter. The Prime Minister of Yan received this letter. When he opened it, he saw the word "holding a candle" and couldn't help sighing: "Holding a candle is advocating light. This is for us to select and appoint talents. " He told Wang his "misunderstanding", and Wang Daxi did so, and Yan became rich and strong. How much did a person like A Dream of Red Mansions who misread the Red Chamber and claimed to study Redology suffer, and how good this "misreading" was. So I think the reading experience of Shi Shuo Xin Yu will not be limited to the interpretation of words, the consideration of the times, or the textual research of metaphysics. I will write wherever I want and record the flashes in my mind, which is where I classify this text as an essay. Doing so may lead to many fallacies in the understanding of Shi Shuo Xin Yu. In addition, I don't have a deep understanding of Marxism, and there may be places that are not Marxist or unscientific, which will inevitably make people laugh. Everyone is welcome to criticize and correct me and give me suggestions.
