How to appreciate Wang Wei's poem Bird Watching Creek

Aesthetic Appreciation of Wang Wei's Bird Watching Creek Wang Wei (70 1—76 1), a famous poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, is famous for his pastoral poems and is proficient in calligraphy, painting and music. He has the reputation of "writing is the best in the world and painting is the best in the world". Wang Wei was born in the first year of Chang 'an after Tang Wu. He was a scholar in the Kaiyuan period of Xuanzong, and he was only twenty-one years old. In his later years, he became a senior official. However, in the Anshi Rebellion, he was forced to accept a fake post and was punished after the rebellion. He was depressed and lived in seclusion in Wangchuan Villa, Shaanxi Province in his later years, leading a semi-official and semi-secluded life. Most of Wang Wei's pastoral poems depict the beauty of nature, but at the same time, Wang Wei reveals leisure and leisure in his leisurely life, especially the quiet and tranquil realm, and even Zen thoughts and feelings. The poem "Birding Creek" without words is one of his representative works. In this regard, Hu Yinglin in the Ming Dynasty called Wang Wei's five poems "only entering Zen" in Shi Yu, and said that "when you read them, you forget your life experience and all your thoughts are silent". It can be said that in Wang Wei's landscape poems, people really feel that "all landscape words are sentimental words", and even every landscape word is a Zen word. The whole poem of "Birding Creek" is as follows: people are idle and osmanthus flowers fall, and the night is quiet and spring is empty. When the moon comes out, the birds are startled, and the sound enters the spring stream. "People are idle and sweet-scented osmanthus falls, and the night is quiet and empty." The "leisure" here refers to a poet who lives in the deep mountains (relative to officialdom), is isolated from the outside world, has a leisurely heart and has no worries. "Sweet-scented osmanthus falls" means that sweet-scented osmanthus falls on the mountain. It means that people are in the mountains, watching osmanthus fragrans fall in the mountains. "In the dead of night, the spring mountain is empty" refers to the night when the poet is in the mountains and feels that the spring mountain, where thousands of trees are recovering, is empty. The poet feels this way because the night in the mountains is too "silent" to make people feel anything. At this time, the poet's "leisure" heart is also idle, and the inner emptiness seems to feel that there is nothing around him. In fact, this is a kind of "silence". Among these two sentences, the word "leisure" in the previous sentence shows people's feeling of idleness and calmness, and their mood is peaceful, natural and quiet. From the inside out, it shows the tranquility of the mountain. The word "static" in the next sentence not only takes care of the word "leisure" in the previous sentence, but also connects with the word "empty" in this sentence, which shows the quietness and emptiness of the mountain. These two sentences, writing about people before and writing about mountains after, form a dual before and after, linking the poet's inner feelings with the external environment, which not only shows the quietness and emptiness of the spring night, but also forms the aesthetic realm of poetry. "When the moon surprises the birds, the sound enters the spring stream." The word "Jing" in the previous sentence is well used. The moon came out, and the moonlight shone on the Woods in the mountains, which seemed to make a noise, and actually alerted the sleeping birds in the mountains (or woke them up). This description not only shows the clear and bright moonlight, but also flies with the movement and the awakened birds, making the tranquility in the mountains more prominent. Then another sentence, the bird poet wrote: "When it makes a sound in the spring stream." "Song" is the song of birds. The word "Ming" corresponds to the word "Jing" in the previous sentence. The bird was awakened by the moonlight and flew out of the Woods to the mountain stream, still barking. This not only echoes the "birdsong creek" in the title, but also vividly shows the meaning of the title. Moreover, the poet embodies the quietness of the mountain through the sound of birds singing, which really has the aesthetic effect of "Yin Gong Shan is more secluded". In short, there are only four short poems, and even the title is only 23 words. The poet skillfully uses the method of contrast to show the tranquility of the mountain incisively and vividly. It can be said that the whole poem consists of four sentences, each of which is very quiet. It not only depicts a picture of birds singing in the spring mountains under the moon, but also shows the leisurely and quiet life pursued by the poet with the quiet beauty of this picture. At the same time, from this leisurely picture of life, the idea of Zen is reflected, which makes the poem have the aesthetic effect of Zen.
