Da Lin Si Tao Bai Hua ju yi
In the world of April, the flowers have withered, and the peach blossoms in the ancient temples have just bloomed.
I want to find a place where my life is dying, but I don't know that it has been moved here.
This poem was written in the early summer of the 12th year of Yuanhe (8 17), when Bai Juyi was in Sima Ren, Jiangzhou (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi). This is a travel poem. Dalin Temple is at the top of Lushan censer peak. As for his writing this poem, this episode has a preface to You Dalin Temple, which can be used for reference.
The whole poem is only four sentences, and it seems that there is nothing profound or surprising in terms of content and language. It is only a description of the scenery season and climate, which is "the mountains are deep and the four seasons are not late" and "different from the flat settlements". But if you read it carefully, you will find that this simple and natural poem is far-reaching and interesting.
At the beginning of the poem, the words "the world is full of wheatgrass in April, and the mountain temple is full of peach blossoms" mean that when the poet climbs the mountain, he is already in Xia Meng, and it is time for spring to return to the earth and the wheatgrass to fall. But unexpectedly, in the ancient temple in the mountains, I met an unexpected spring scene-a peach blossom that began to bloom. From the following sentence "I often hate that spring is nowhere to be found", we can know that the poet was resentful, angry and disappointed at the hasty absence of spring before boarding the ship. Therefore, when this unexpected spring scene comes into view, how amazing and joyful it is! The first sentence of this poem, "Fang Fei is exhausted" and the second sentence, "It begins to bloom", complement each other. Literally, they are chronicles, but in fact, they are also writing about the leap of feelings and thoughts-from a sad sigh that passed away to surprise, joy and even joy. Moreover, at the beginning of the first sentence, the poet deliberately used the word "person", which means that this adventure and this scenic spot have brought a special feeling to the poet, that is, it seems that he suddenly stepped into a fairyland from the real world of human beings and was in another non-human world.
It is under the trigger of this feeling that the wings of the poet's imagination soar. "I always hate that spring is nowhere to be found and I don't know where to go." It suddenly occurred to him that he once hated the ruthlessness of spring because he cherished it and fell in love with it, but he was wrong. It turned out that spring didn't come back. He just sneaked into this place like a child playing hide-and-seek with others.
In this poem, peach blossoms are used instead of abstract spring scenery to make spring scenery concrete and beautiful; Moreover, it personifies the spring scenery and writes it as if it really has feet, so you can hide it around. No, just feet. You see, it simply has a naughty and provocative character!
In this short poem, the spring scenery in nature is so vivid and concrete, innocent and lovely, and it can't be written without infinite nostalgia and love for spring and the poet's childlike innocence. The beauty of this poem lies in its novel conception, ingenious conception, elegant and interesting playful language, which is also inspiring and pleasing to the eye. It can be described as another treasure in the quatrains of the Tang Dynasty.
