Why did the poet Gomez commit suicide?

Ge Mai, formerly known as Chu Fujun, 1967, a native of Baoquanling Farm in Luobei County, Heilongjiang Province, graduated from Peking University. His masterpiece is Gomez's Poems. Gomel is one of the young poets who committed suicide since the new period. The fierce conflict between ideal and reality is the main motive force of Gomez's suicide. His alienation from "reality" made him a "world-weary". He lives in a utopia of language and reverses the relationship between reality and dreams. Loneliness, anxiety, fantasy and isolation became his mental state. Gomel's death is to fulfill the contract about death in the poem.
