Li Bai's life is mainly divided into five periods.
1, studying and traveling in Sichuan: 5 -25 years old.
At the age of five, he went to Jiangyou County with his father. At the age of fifteen, he had many poems. At the age of eighteen, he lived in seclusion in Daitian Mine to study. At the age of 24, he left his hometown and embarked on a long journey. When Li Bai was twenty-five, he went out to Shu.
2. Strong travel career: 26 -42 years old
Li Bai disdained to take the imperial examination, hoping to get a chance to introduce him through roaming. At the age of 26, I passed through Chenzhou and met Li Yong and Meng Haoran. In Anlu, Hubei Province, I married the granddaughter of Prime Minister Xu and lived here for about ten years.
3. Three-year employment period in Changan: 42 -44 years old.
After textual research, Li Bai entered Chang 'an twice, once in the late Kaiyuan period, but failed. In the first year of Tianbao, due to the recommendation of Princess, Wu Yun and who, Chang 'an writers were called to worship the Hanlin. Li Bai is too conceited and unprepared. He is still addicted to drinking and singing and unruly. Later, he was pushed out and paid back the money. Entering Chang 'an is a very important period in Li Bai's life, which makes his later works have strong ideological and political characteristics.
4. Follow-up period: 44 -55 years old.
After leaving Chang 'an, Li Bai began to roam again. I met Du Fu in Luoyang, Du Fu went to Chang 'an, and Du Suibai traveled. They have been friends for nearly a year (Li Bai has two poems with Du Fu, and Du Fu has twelve as gifts). Later, Bai married the granddaughter of Zong Chuke, the prime minister of Wuhou. During this period, Bai was keen on seeking immortality and traveling.
5. During the Anshi Rebellion: 55 -62 years old.
After the Anshi Rebellion, Bai lived in seclusion in Lushan Mountain. After Xuanzong went to Shu and Ma Su, Su Zong succeeded to the throne in Lingwu. When Xuanzong was still unknown in Chengdu, he wrote an official document and ordered his son to pacify the world. Li Lin, the emperor of Yongli, recruited tens of thousands of troops in Jiangling to quell the chaos in the East. In fact, he had ulterior motives. He asked Li Bai to cross Lushan Mountain as his chief of staff. Li Bai is a man who doesn't understand politics. He just entered the curtain for the purpose of serving the country and protecting the people.
Su Zong put down the rebellion and committed the crime of "disobedience" for nothing. Xuanzong returned the capital, granted amnesty to the world, and got it back for nothing. According to Guo Moruo's textual research, the poem "Farewell to Bai Diyun" was written by Li Bai after hearing that he was forgiven, and he cried with joy. He walked from Jiujiang to the Three Gorges for more than a year, and when he came back, he was "a thousand miles away." Bai, 62, died in Dangtu. He said he died of rot, and he said he died of drunken fishing for the moon.
