There are more than 20 frontier poems, accounting for about110 of the existing poems in Cen Can.
Three frontier poems, 80, accounting for 1/5. At that time, "Gao Cen Tune" was called "Tune", probably because both of them had the same military life, and both of them had frontier poems that enjoyed a high reputation in the poetic world, rather than their less outstanding poetic achievements. Researchers of past dynasties have seen that their poetic personalities are quite different. Chen Yi once said that "Gao Shi's poems are quality-oriented, and Cen Can's poems are clever with the main scenery", and Gong Shizhen said that "Gao Cen is not easy to get into Bucen for a while, but he is not as arrogant as Duff." Gong Shizhen said, "High-spirited, solemn and strong, silent and steep". It should be said that these opinions are not unreasonable. However, we can't further accurately understand the difference between Gao and Cen's poetic style by combining specific works, which is exactly what we scholars should continue to accomplish.
