[Opinion/Chen Jing]
People at the grass-roots level are nobody.
Broadly speaking, the grass-roots people talk about identity and status, which means meanness.
In a narrow sense, grass people refer to "those who live in cold mountainous areas/rely on the sky to eat/crawl on the earth/look for cordyceps sinensis/support their families", which is a profession.
Like the "grass people", vegetable farmers, fruit farmers, tea farmers, flower farmers, tobacco farmers and sericulture farmers, including poetry farmers, are also a profession. Generally speaking, these occupations are still "hereditary".
A person's address can be changed, but it is certainly not that easy to change.
