The Enlightenment of Rhythm is an enlightening reading to train children to cope and master the rhyme and meter. The content includes: according to the rhyme, including astronomy, geography, flowers and trees, birds and beasts, figures, utensils and so on. From single-word pairs to double-word pairs, three-word pairs, five-word pairs, seven-word pairs to eleven-word pairs, the phonology is harmonious and catchy, from which the training of pronunciation, vocabulary and rhetoric is obtained. From single words to multi-words, it reads like singing. Compared with other three-character and four-character sentence patterns, it is more attractive.
this kind of reading material is unique among the enlightenment reading materials and endures for a long time. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, books such as Xun Meng Pian Sentence and Li Weng Dui Yun have been written in this way and have been widely circulated. Today, we use a private edition of Mogengtang, which was collected by Wei Chaojun in Chengdu in 1883 AD during the reign of Guangxu Guiwei in the Qing Dynasty. Its cover is titled "Enlightenment of Rhythm", and the inside page is titled "Summary of Enlightenment of Rhythm". The author's title is "Re-ordering of Nie Ximin Rongfeng in Hengshan, Bi-Pavilion by Che Wanyu in Shaoling and Notes on Fengjiang in Xiangtan Xia Daguan".
Since this book is called "Summary", naturally it will only extract the most important parts in the Enlightenment of Rhythm. It is divided into two volumes, the first and the second, with only 3 rhymes in Pingsheng (that is, the rhymes used by most metrical poems). Obviously, this is a summary of the first two volumes written by Zhu Ming, and based on it, some modifications and revisions have been made that the author thinks are necessary.

Rules for compiling the catalogue of "Enlightenment of Tone":
The catalogues of these two books are not random. Their catalogue is compiled in the order of Pingshui Rhyme, in which Pingsheng Rhyme consists of thirty parts. We have been writing old-style poems until today. If we use ancient rhymes, the level and rhyme of each word are still based on Ping Shui Yun. The metrical poems in the old-style poems are also called modern poems, and modern poems must be rhymed. These two books are the directories determined accordingly.
The role of
1. Be familiar with and remember the rhyme: metrical poetry is very harsh on rhyme, so you must choose words in the same rhyme, and the first sentence must be adjacent rhyme, otherwise it will be rhyme. Through familiar reading and reciting, we can quickly remember commonly used words, and we don't need to turn over rhyme books.
2. The Enlightenment of Melody has trained the basic skills of antithesis and syntax.
3. Understand historical allusions: Generally, allusions are used in poetry and prose. The Enlightenment of Melody lists many commonly used allusions. If you recite the Enlightenment of Melody with such books as Li Weng Dui Yun and Long Wen Bian Ying, you will understand a lot of historical knowledge, and at the same time know which allusions can be compared with each other.
