Why is a nation's literature its history?

Literature refers to the art of using language to vividly reflect the objective reality, including drama, poetry, novels, essays and so on. It is an important manifestation of culture, which expresses inner feelings in different forms (called genres) and reproduces social life in a certain period and region.

Therefore, the literature of each nation reflects the social situation and people's ideological tendency of each nation in a specific period. For example, poetry, the earliest literary genre in China, originated from the labor sound of primitive people. It is a kind of literature with rhyme and singing, which can well reflect the background of the creative era, people's thoughts and social life.
