Portrait of Qu Yuan
Sima Qian's interpretation of the word Li Sao is "suffering". Because they are closer to the times, this explanation is more credible. Li Sao tells the author's personal birth experience and ambition as a whole, and skillfully combines ancient legends, dialogue between characters, nature and the pursuit of beauty, the dilemma of reality and the beauty of ideals. Poetry contains a lot of content.
In the aspect of rhyming words, it created the style of Chu Ci, rhymed with Xi, and used flowery words, which also had an impact on the creation of later generations. The sentence structure and the number of words are relatively unrestricted, breaking through the imprisonment of the old literary tradition. Repeated use of the word "Xi" is also a major personality of Li Sao, which skillfully combines thoughts, experiences, changes, myths and reality with various rhetorical devices. These also reflected Qu Yuan's unique personality charm, which triggered a new wave of bold creation of poems with personal feelings for future generations in the history of poetry.
In content, it is divided into two parts. The first part describes the past and present situation. The content includes the poet's real name, experience, political ambition, depression and anger at Chu's fatuous politics.
The second half describes the vision for the future, the pursuit of truth, the unremitting pursuit of wise politics and the love for the people, and even the determination to die for the country.

Qu Yuan and Li Bai are the best romantic poets in China. Different from Li Bai's unrestrained and free-spirited, Qu Yuan's poems sometimes have more sadness, more pity and more tenderness.
-Nine songs are like this. The poem tells the story of a sentimental and melancholy female ghost waiting silently at the top of the mountain. The female ghost wears beautiful and exquisite clothes, which are dotted with flowers. The mountain breeze blows, the sleeves are fluttering and the fragrance is overflowing. The female ghost also painted charming makeup, which is extremely delicate and charming, like petals that have just been hit by dew. She came from the depths of the dark and mysterious bamboo forest and came to this high mountain.
There were many passers-by at the foot of the mountain. Shan Gui looked at everyone patiently, but he didn't wait for his sweetheart after waiting for a long time. Are you late? She hates walking too slowly. She hates the steep and rugged mountain roads. She stood there with hatred, lonely and desolate, lonely and lonely. The wind blows a piece of white clouds on the horizon, and even the white clouds are clustered together in pairs.
The white clouds have turned into dark clouds, the mountain wind is getting stronger and stronger, and it will rain soon, but I still haven't seen my sweetheart. The dark clouds are getting denser and the world is dark. The leaves from the strong wind rattled and scattered the beautiful makeup of the female ghost, which made her tremble with cold. How she wishes her sweetheart would appear at this moment, give her a broad shoulder, shelter her from the wind and rain, drive away the cold and give her warmth.
The rain poured down, mixed with lightning and thunder, and the sky and the earth were gray, but there was still no sign of my sweetheart.
Qu Yuan, the first generation poet of Qu Yuan, had ups and downs in his life, and his personal destiny was always tied to national security, with serving the country as his lifelong goal. When Chu perished, Qu Yuan's life ended. His Ode to an Orange can be said to be a true portrayal of his pursuit of faith.

Citrus is born in the warm south. If forcibly transplanted to the north, the fruit is sour and astringent and difficult to swallow. In Qu Yuan's view, this is the expression of Chenpi's loyalty to his native land. This character is exactly what Qu Yuan pursued all his life. He used oranges to show his position. As a courtier of Chu, he is worried about the country's peril and can't change his original intention anywhere. In fact, during the Warring States period, disputes between countries continued, and many scholar-officials were ignored at home and turned to other monarchs with the same interests. In such a chaotic era, loyalty and filial piety are not as important as personal ambition.
However, Qu Yuan didn't want to go with the flow. He regards dried tangerine peel as an example of loyalty, expresses his ambition through things, and regards dried tangerine peel as his incarnation. Because of his strength, he will never go to other countries, and his feelings for Chu will never disappear. This is not only the character of his generation of literati, but also the best way out for his noble status in Chu. When his country is gone, so is his life. Just like oranges, what can I miss about this world when I leave my native land and lose the nutrients I depend on for survival?
No matter how Qu Yuan's ending is, his Ode to an Orange plays a very important role in the history of literature, especially in creating a precedent of expressing feelings by borrowing things, which is worth learning from later generations.
The story about Qu Yuan When people talk about Qu Yuan, the first thing that people think of may be the story of him throwing himself into the river to serve the country. In fact, he has an equally touching story. This is a story about love. In 325 BC, Qu Yuan/Kloc was 0/5 years old, which was the age of youth and ignorance.

Qu Yuan gets up early to study every day, and when he is tired of reading, he takes a walk in the fields in the early morning. Every day for three days, he could see a little girl carrying a big bamboo basket and holding a sickle in her hand. The little girl quickly crossed the weeds with a sickle in her right hand, caught it with her left hand, and then threw it into the bamboo basket behind her without looking up. The whole movement is mature and sophisticated, not sloppy at all.
However, the little girl's face is not mature at all. Her eyes are not big and her mouth is not big. She looks small and delicate, about thirteen or fourteen years old. When Qu Yuan watched the little girl disappear into the field with a full bamboo basket on her back, there was always a sense of loss. Several times, he tried to say hello, but he didn't get up the courage.
It is another morning. The weather is not good today, and it is very cloudy. As soon as Qu Yuan went out, he saw the little girl. The little girl bent her head and concentrated on mowing the grass. Qu yuan watched silently in the distance, and suddenly felt that it was not bad to watch silently.
Dark clouds soon accumulated, and then it rained. The little girl's hair got wet at once and looked up helplessly. Suddenly she saw the eaves where Qu Yuan lived. She grinned, gave a sweet smile and ran quickly to the eaves.
There is already a lot of grass in the bamboo basket. She wants to unload it, but it is a little difficult. Qu Yuan hurried forward and gave a hand.
The little girl returned a sweet smile as before and asked, it's raining, why don't you go home?
It was the first time that Qu Yuan heard the little girl's voice, which was straightforward, crisp and sweet, like the unrestrained wind in the field. Qu Yuan said falteringly, I have nothing to do when I go home. Now ... I'm watching you mow the grass.
The little girl said, well, mowing grass is very tiring. What is there to see? Look at your skirt. You seldom do farm work, do you?
Qu Yuan nodded.
The little girl bowed her head and thought for a moment, and smiled cunningly: Then you help me mow the grass, and we will mow it together.
What could be happier than this? Qu Yuan nodded when he pounded garlic.
Unfortunately, Qu Yuan has never seen the little girl since the rain broke up. Qu Yuan waited under the eaves every day, but the little girl never appeared again. Many people think that something happened to the little girl when she came home after the rain, but this is just a guess, and no one knows the specific reason.
Later, Qu Yuan wrote a poem "Nine Songs" based on this sad event. The hero in the poem is also waiting for his sweetheart but has not arrived, which is probably the truest portrayal of Qu Yuan's heart.
Why commemorate Qu Yuan Qu Yuan was born in 278 BC and committed suicide in the Miluo River. He was a famous writer and politician in Chu during the Warring States Period. China has a long history of 5,000 years, and celebrities emerge one after another. Why should we commemorate Qu Yuan?
Portrait of Qu Yuan
This is to commemorate his outstanding literary achievements, and the other is to commemorate his noble character. Qu Yuan's painstaking poems created the style of Chu Ci, combining Fu, Bi and Xing skillfully, and revealing things and expressing thoughts and feelings to the extreme. Qu Yuan held a high position in Chu Huaiwang's time and once made a splash in the imperial court. Patriotic blood runs through his bones, closely linking his personal future with the destiny of the country. He resented not because he was ousted from office, but because of his pathetic personal situation. He just wants to contribute to the strength of Chu.
Qu Yuan experienced three monarchs in his life and was highly valued by the second monarch, Chu Huaiwang. He can predict the future political trend from the height of current historical development and advocate the prosperity of the country against Qin. While calculating the future, we can't see the present Qu Yuan clearly, but he is pushed out by other forces, and finally has a bad feeling with Chu Huaiwang. Even so, after Chu Huaiwang's death, he still had expectations for the royal family of Chu, and he didn't want to waste all his skills. With his exile, his political life came to an end.
No matter how Qu Yuan ends up, he is the embodiment of pursuing ideal justice and loyalty, and his patriotic feelings and national feelings deserve everyone's admiration. Especially in today's diversified value orientation, his valuable character is particularly important.
