Every year, a group of writers with creative achievements and potential are recruited as new members, most of whom are young and middle-aged writers, which adds fresh blood to the creative team and maintains the vigorous vitality of the writers in the province. By 2007, * * * had 1750 provincial writers' associations, including the Chinese Writers' Association 167.

Various forms of reading meetings, manuscript revision meetings and seminars are often held, and the backbone of amateur literary creation in the province has participated in these activities more than once. Famous scholars, experts and professional writers from inside and outside the province are invited to give lectures at each event, which has achieved good results, been welcomed and praised by amateur authors, and has become an effective form of contacting members.
(3) praise and encourage creation. First, the "Zhao Shuli Literature Award" which was interrupted for 20 years resumed. This award was established by the provincial party committee and government and undertaken by the provincial writers association. It is to encourage writers in the province to create excellent literary works, promote the prosperity and development of socialist literature, and provide high-quality spiritual food for the broad masses of the people. It is the highest honor literature prize in our province. In 2005, we selected "200 1-2003 Zhao Shuli Literature Award". In 2007, "Zhao Shuli Literature Award for 2004-2006" has been awarded, and the result is expected to be announced in 5438+ 10. Second, Shanxi Literature and Yellow River magazines organize the selection of outstanding literary works and literary newcomers every year, and strive to introduce local writers to promote Shanxi's literary creation. Third, the Provincial Writers Association commends the municipal and enterprise literary federations every year, arousing their creative enthusiasm and achieving good results.
(4) Strengthen member contact. Members of the Party Group and the Presidium of our Association often visit members in cities and counties, and hold a forum for members of the Provincial Writers Association and amateur writers together with the responsible comrades of the local Federation of Literary and Art Circles to listen to opinions and voices, understand their thoughts and creations, and deepen their feelings with members. Due to the unbalanced economic development in our province, many amateur writers living at the grassroots level have difficult living conditions. So I will try my best to help them solve their difficulties in life and creation in various forms, which has been widely praised.
(5) Cultivate young writers. 1. In order to further improve the creative strength of young writers in the province and cultivate a group of young writers who can have an impact on the national literary world, our Association held the first "Shanxi Young Writers' Creation Meeting" in July 2004. Nearly 100 representatives from young writers under the age of 40 in the province attended the meeting. The Chinese Writers Association and the leaders of the provincial party committee and government were invited to attend and make important speeches. Famous writers Mo Yan and Bi Shumin and famous literary critic Li Jianjun gave special lectures respectively. This meeting broadened the ideological, cultural and literary horizons of young writers in our province, stimulated everyone's creative passion and had a far-reaching impact on the province's literary creation. The second is to create conditions for young writers to go deep into grassroots posts, with remarkable results. At the end of 2004, with the strong support of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and through the efforts of our association, five young writers went deep into the grassroots and took up their posts. The five young writers are: Li from Shanxi Daily Culture Department, Ge Shuiping from Changzhi Theatre Art College, Jiexiu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Han Sizhong from Lvliang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Gao Jurui from yongji city Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He went to Hongtong County, Tunliu County, Songgu Township of Jiexiu City, Qiaokou Town of Linxian County and Zhou Pu Town of yongji city respectively, and served as assistant to the county magistrate, deputy secretary of the township party committee and deputy mayor. These five young writers have made extensive contact with local cadres and masses, fully felt the richness of real life, and obtained a lot of creative materials, which laid a solid foundation for their future creation.
(six) to carry out the activities of collecting wind. Create conditions for foreign exchanges and organize writers to go out to collect folk songs. In recent years, many writers in our province have been invited to visit or give lectures by relevant foreign institutions. In addition, the College of Literature also organized our college and our college's special writers to visit Russia, South Korea and other places, and made extensive contact with people from all walks of life in the countries they visited, which increased their knowledge and broadened their horizons. Every year, the Provincial Writers Association organizes some writers, editors and government officials to collect opinions inside and outside the province. For four consecutive years, leaders and writers of municipal literary and art circles were organized to visit and study in brother provinces and cities, exchange experiences and learn from others. These activities have played an obvious role in enriching the writer's life accumulation.
(7) Strive to support creation. Since 2000, I have allocated special funds from the creative fund every year to help writers solve the difficulties of going deep into life, obtaining materials and collecting materials. Each writer gives 1000-2000 yuan. Since the launch of this activity, nearly 100 writers have received support. Although the support funds received are not much, the writers are very moved and think that this is the encouragement of the Provincial Writers Association to writers' creation, which will inspire them to devote themselves to their creation and write excellent works. .
(8) Reform the writer system. In order to better train young writers and further promote literary creation in the whole province, Shanxi College of Literature, to which I belong, began to sign writers in 2005. This activity received enthusiastic response from writers in the whole province, and they signed up enthusiastically. The heads of the business departments of Jingwen College and Provincial Writers Association were preliminarily screened, and the jury composed of members of the presidium of Provincial Writers Association and professional writers voted by secret ballot to determine ten young writers as the first batch of contract writers. The Provincial Writers Association specially held a signing ceremony. After that, the College of Liberal Arts helped the contracted writers in terms of funds and counseling. The second batch of signing writers' activities also started in 2007.
(9) Run literary publications well. Shanxi Literature sponsored by our association has been published for 50 years, and Yellow River has been published for more than 20 years. The two journals adhere to the correct policy of running journals, publish many works that have great repercussions in the literary world and readers, introduce a group of potential young authors, and promote the literary creation in our province. In 2005, I founded a humorous literary publication, Happy World, and conducted business exploration according to the idea of cultural system reform. In 2006, Shanxi College of Literature founded the magazine "Jin", aiming to reflect the face of Shanxi as a major literary province, which produced a good social response.
(10) Do a good job of old writers. I will have a large number of old writers who have great influence in the country. They are highly respected, and some people are still immersed in writing. Organize condolences on the day of the festival every year, send the warmth of the party and the government home, often visit and listen to their opinions and suggestions on the development of Shanxi literature, and strive to achieve political concern, preferential treatment in life and creative support.
