Bai Meng in Tang Dynasty called Du Fu's poems "the history of poetry". This term shows the unique historical significance of Du Fu's works. Du Fu is famous for his rich and true description of social and historical events at that time. Through my own in-depth observation and experience, I can reach the bottom of people's lives and capture social unrest, political corruption and other issues, thus reflecting the status quo and changes of the whole Tang society.
