Brief introduction of Fenghuang Mountain
Phoenix Mountain National Scenic Area is located 3 kilometers southeast of Fengcheng. Fengcheng is a big station on the Shen Dan Line. There are several railway stations every day, and it is convenient to go to Fengcheng by train from Shenyang or Dandong.
If you take a bus from Dandong to Phoenix Mountain, walk 50 kilometers northwest along the highway, that is, to the foot of the mountain. Phoenix Mountain is a branch of Changbai Mountain, and its main peak, Zanyunfeng, is 840 meters above sea level. Now it has been listed as a national scenic spot, which is famous for its strangeness in risks and seclusion in beauty. The mountain is abrupt and towering, like a phoenix spreading its wings, so it is named after the phoenix. The whole mountain is divided into four scenic spots: Xishan, Dongshan, Miaogou and Ancient City. Starting from Ziyang view, you can visit Xishan Scenic Area. There are three hiking roads in front of you, namely Middle Road, East Road and West Road. The middle road passes through Doumu Palace, Bixia Palace, Guanyin Cave, Phoenix Cave, Silkworm Mother Tussah, Phoenix Tears, Lingxian Cave, Laso Lilian and other major attractions to Luohan Peak.
From Luohan Peak to the west, you can see the eye of the arrow. East Road passes through Chaozhen Bridge, Sancha Church, Yipin Dong Tian, chanting platform, Guanyin Pavilion, Juxi Sendai, Shuanglongbei, Xianren Tower and other major scenic spots to the beacon tower. From the beacon tower to the west, you can see the eye of the arrow.
