All along, Zhu Ziqing's Winter is my favorite prose, and there is no one.
Zhu Ziqing is a great prose writer. Besides Lu Xun, I'm afraid his prose is one of the most selected textbooks. He has many classic essays, and his Spring, Back and Moonlight on the Lotus Pond have always been classic articles that middle school students must recite.
Winter is not his most famous prose. Many people don't know, but this is my favorite essay. I recite "Winter" along with the music "Jiangnan" and listen to it repeatedly when I have time. Every time I listen to it, I feel that it is a baptism of the soul, which makes my mind quiet and clear.
"Winter" is like a crystal clear, natural, without any traces of carving.
Winter has a simple structure and consists of three pictures.
The first picture shows the memories of three brothers and their father eating white water tofu when they were children.
White water tofu is not a delicious dish, but on such a cold winter night, the faint white water tofu becomes delicious when the family is surrounded by a warm stove.
The second picture is a memory of boating with friends in the West Lake on a moonlit night more than ten years ago.
Or a faint picture, silver moonlight, faint mountain shadows, soft water waves, the picture is extremely quiet. After boating in the West Lake, I went to Jingsi Temple, only to see bright lights and flickering candlelight, which was like a dream.
The third picture is a fragment of my late wife's life in Taizhou when she was alive.
In the empty and silent Taizhou, the author and his family, as outsiders, spent a lonely and cold winter. Although it is winter outside, "it is always spring at home" because of the company of my wife and children.
All three paintings are set in winter, and the colors are bleak and cold. However, their seemingly casual explanations are full of affection. There is affection, friendship, and yearning for my dead wife.
The article is very short, only 1000 words. Reading is like reading a thick book, which is obviously the author's half-life experience.
When I was a teenager, I stayed with my family. Although my life is poor, I think it is warm. Not only because of the warm stove, boiling white water tofu, but also because of the company of brothers and parents, winter nights have become warm memories.
When he was young, Zhu Ziqing ran around for work and livelihood. Like him, his friends live a wandering life. Boating on a moonlit night is silent, and everyone has some heavy worries.
Even so, we should write a poem for the lakes and mountains under the moon: a few stars shine on the fishing village, and light ink and light traces.
That is the young people's pursuit of poetic life, which is still difficult to disappear after suffering. Looking back after more than ten years, it is still unforgettable.
The wife in the third clip is Wu Zhongqian, Zhu Ziqing's first wife. The author married Wu Zhongqian in 19 17, and she died in Yangzhou in 19291month.
Three years after his wife's death, Zhu Ziqing wrote "To His Dead Wife" to mourn his dead wife, recalling his wife's contribution to the family and her smile in difficult years, with tears in every sentence and every word.
In Winter, the author suppressed his sadness and described his lonely life with his wife and children in Taizhou with extremely plain language. The smiling faces of his wife and children lit up those years, and the author gave birth to infinite regrets:
From avenue to simplicity, the language of prose tends to be more and more dull.
The language of Winter is also different from Zhu Ziqing's early works.
The spring written by Zhu Ziqing, which we are familiar with, is full of flowers and high spirits, and is a young talented person with unrestrained literary talent and full of youth.
This language style is also in line with the article "Spring", which should have been like this. Flowers are red, willows are green, and birds are dancing, just like a colorful painting, full of youthful vitality.
Winter and spring are very different. Winter is cold, simple and tasteless.
However, winter is also mature, solemn, silent and heavy.
The four seasons are like life, spring and summer are like teenagers and young people, and autumn and winter are like middle-aged and old people.
Winter is a season suitable for memories.
After his ex-wife Zhu Ziqing wandered from one place to another with "Where are you going?", he began to recall his past life: childhood when he ate white tofu with his family, youth when he rowed on the lake with friends, and lost years when he was with his dead wife.
Without flowery rhetoric and strong colors, only a few strokes are sketched, and Zhu Ziqing's Winter looks like an understated ink painting. But the dull beginning does not include affection.
The seemingly tasteless white water tofu hides the warmth of home and the author's attachment to childhood.
Boating on the lake with friends, it seems that the moon can still shine on you, and the lights and candles of Jingsi Temple are brilliant, "waking up like a dream". It was a youthful dream that I didn't want to wake up.
The winter I spent with my wife in Taizhou, "Although it is always winter outside, it is always spring at home." It's strange and cold outside. When I walk into the room, I can see the mother and son "three faces smiling at me innocently." It seems that Taizhou is empty, only the four of us; Only the four of us are empty. "
Four years after his wife died, I remembered that winter, leaving only his wife's smiling face.
Originally an extremely heavy emotion, the author wrote it in a very light language; It was a cold and tasteless winter, but it left an extremely warm memory for the author.
Flowers are more beautiful when they are shallow and more beautiful when they are deep. Sometimes, the more affectionate, the more insipid.
The article "Winter" has been read many times since the first reading, but every time I read it, I still can't help crying.
